Interests:
I am learning to heal myself and grow in light. I know that healing myself is the best thing I can do right now, which benefits All That IS.

Creating:
My shop is located on a quaint street off a busy avenue. You'll know you found it when you see my medieval suit of armor in the window situated among pots of herbs, crystals and statuary. Stepping inside, you hear the tinkle of chimes welcoming you. The aroma of musky incense clings lightly to your nostrils while your eyes adjust to the dimness. At the back of the room and along the walls are jewel cases filled with hand-made, artisan quality, original works in metal, clay, stone and glass. Silver, gold and copper rings, medallions and pendants line another case. Displayed on the walls are mirrors, paintings and prints. Shelves and shelves of candles, oils, incense, books and a large selection of New Age music. Wind chimes, ivies, and mosses hang pleasantly from the ceiling, swaying gently. Your ears are rewarded with a soothing, meditative melody whispering in soft and comforting tones. Relaxed now, calm and serene, you are comfortable and curious. There is a definite aura of peace here and you wonder what treasures lie beyond. You make your way to a hallway containing three arches. An artfully crafted sign points you in the direction of the greenhouse, the coffee shop, and the meditation room. You will find me in the greenhouse caring for my precious herbs, flowers and aquariums. There are many fresh herbs in darling kitchen pots, ready to take home. Each one has a hand-written card explaining the herbs properties and uses. I keep the aquarium because its beautiful. I don't sell the fish! I offer classes in Tai Chi, Meditation, and Spiritual Discussion. Many of my friends and customers stop by just to chat over a cup of coffee. I offer delicious homemade soup and biscuits for lunch. My husband makes a cheesecake everyone loves! I love this place so much! My heart sings and my soul soars to the heights of joy!

Who am I but a strand in the web?
The filaments of me
Extend and reach out to you,
The seeker.

My web is woven of light
And sound that color
The world you live in,
The perceiver.

You are a part of my web.
I embrace you with light,
loving your being
The Knower.

I am you and you are me.
We are the web, the strand
Connected by light,
The Lover.

Black shadows fall
From the lindens tall,
That lift aloft their massive wall
Against the southern sky;

And from the realms
Of the shadowy elms
A tide-like darkness overwhelms
The fields that round us lie.

But the night is fair,
And everywhere
A warm, soft vapor fills the air,
And distant sounds seem near;

And above, in the light
Of the star-lit night,
Swift birds of passage wing their flight
Through the dewy atmosphere.

I hear the beat
Of their pinions fleet,
As from the land of snow and sleet
They seek a southern lea.

I hear the cry
Of their voices high
Falling dreamily through the sky,
But their forms I cannot see.

Oh, say not so!
Those sounds that flow
In murmurs of delight and woe
Come not from wings of birds.

They are the throngs
Of the poet's songs,
Murmurs of pleasures, and pains, and wrongs,
The sound of winged words.

This is the cry
Of souls, that high
On toiling, beating pinions, fly,
Seeking a warmer clime.

From their distant flight
Through realms of light
It falls into our world of night,
With the murmuring sound of rhyme.

Tears Poem

Tears, idle tears,
Stop!
Tears, soulful tears,
Start!
Tears, helpless tears,
Continue!
Tears, determined tears,
Reach!
~

Before I accepted
The life of aspiration,
My tears were the tears
Of real sorrow.
Now that I have accepted
The life of aspiration,
My tears are not tears of sorrow
But tears of real joy.
~

I like the tears
That flow from the depth
Of my helpless despair.
I love the tears
That flow from the depth
Of my dawning aspiration.
I adore the tears
That flow from the depth
Of my Liberation-sea.

By: Sri Chinmoy

Your face is like the clouds,
when the sun is left to dry more than
just the years.
Your tears are needed.
Just as the clouds' are to the Earth.
Your soul is like the air.
understood to be there,
but needed by the many whose lives depend on it.
Why torment yourself to hurt and sorrow,
when you've already been torn apart,
torn until you can no longer feel the pain or your heart. "He that soweth in tears shall doubtless come again rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. ”Cry now and smile later when the sun is left to dry more than just the years.

The day began and ended with a song of the Red Breasted Robin...oh, the first day and the last one too! What a beautiful song sung for you, Sweet Sister Evie, with Love and Light kokomoincognito

Be a good animal, true to your animal instincts.

Ours is an excessively conscious age. We know so much, we feel so little.

img

Every profound new movement makes a great swing also backwards to some older, half forgotten way of consciousness.

img

the magnificent here and now of life in the flesh is ours, and ours alone, and ours only for a time; but, love and light are eternal and for all souls of all time and sapce.

Humming-Bird
by D.H. Lawrence

I can imagine, in some otherworld
Primeval-dumb, far back
In that most awful stillness, that only gasped and hummed,
Humming-birds raced down the avenues.

Before anything had a soul,
While life was a heave of matter, half inanimate,
This little bit chipped off in brilliance
And went whizzing through the slow, vast, succulent stems.

I believe there were no flowers then,
In the world where the humming-bird flashed ahead of creation.
I believe he pierced the slow vegetable veins with his long beak.

Probably he was big
As mosses, and little lizards, they say, were once big.
Probably he was a jabbing, terrifying monster.

We look at him through the wrong end of the telescope of Time,
Luckily for us.

Within My Garden, rides a Bird

by Emily Dickinson

Within my Garden, rides a Bird
Upon a single Wheel --
Whose spokes a dizzy Music make
As 'twere a travelling Mill --

He never stops, but slackens
Above the Ripest Rose --
Partakes without alighting
And praises as he goes,

Till every spice is tasted --
And then his Fairy Gig
Reels in remoter atmospheres --
And I rejoin my Dog,

And He and I, perplex us,
If positive, 'twere we --
Or bore the Garden in the Brain
This Curiosity --

But He, the best Logician,
Refers my clumsy eye --
To just vibrating Blossoms!
An Exquisite Reply!

With much Love and Light on this Sunday of Hummin’ Birds….kokomoincognito
