Here some background- it's put me where I am today. Though these days I try to stay in the now as much as I can. For as long as I can remember, I have always been different. The world seemed like a place that was alien to me. As a child growing up I often wondered why people were so cruel and competetive. The "rules" made no sense and I always questioned them. Being a thorn in the side of society I rebeled against it, and was for most of my life angry and frustrated but often wished I could just be normal, accept and get on with things like the majority of people- and many times I tried, but whenever I tried to adopt that life it would never work in spite of my best efforts. For most of my life I wondered what my purpose on this earth was (still do to an extent). I spent a lot of my life depressed- only now do I realize that a lot of those feelings weren't even my own but what I was picking up from around me. I am very sensitive to energies and emotions of people. I've also had some episodes of claircognizance- or knowing about stuff without being told. I've had many different jobs, the details of which, I won't bore you with- society tells you that you have to find a career and that pretty much defines who you are so you can be a "good little tax-payer"- naturally I had a problem finding a job that "defined me" or that I wouldn't become bored with- I've always been very creative- but paying the bills always got in the way of that. A job title is nothing more than a slave barcode. Success in life is about how well you treat others. Having lived through all of my worst nightmares and having worked through my fear, the obviousness of this reality as a training ground for soul growth has become apparent to me. Now I realise that I am here for a reason- to help usher in the new paradigm and most of my time is now spent working towards that. I've dealt with my shadows but there is always room for improvement- enlightenment is a path not a destination. I started consciously on the spritual path in mid-2006 and feel I have been on the "fast track" to awakening- but I'm not gonna lie- it's been very bumpy and difficult at times- my old life has essentially fallen apart, but when I fell off the horse, I got back on. The Golden Age is round the corner- how quickly and easily it comes is up to us. The person I used to identify with seems to have left the building along with Elvis and the bulk of my ego- I feel like a casual observer to an earthly life now as I juggle the the requirements of existing in the dying old reality. But I am happier being the "being" I am now in spite of the odd frustration.. I seek truth and beauty in this reality and beyond. I am a qualified hypnotist, Reiki level 2 attuned and a rookie Tarot card reader. A provider of dry humour, a frustrating enigma to my family members, Empath, mind- reader, wise old person and eternal teenager, song-writer, musician, voluntary fish-out-of-water and conscious co-creator. I follow my intuition to see where it leads me. I am also working at developing my psychic and channeling abilities. (why am I finding it impossible to insert paragraph breaks?)
