Love-Yoga Teacher Training Course:
For those who would like to learn and deepen their insights into the Science of yoga and vedic healing, as well as pursue teaching certification, this is an ideal opportunity.
Living in the congenial environment is the best way to truly integrate the yogic teachings into your life, and to be able to focus exclusively on yoga and teachings for a month. Later as long as mutually convenient since yoga learning is an infinite process including unique and special features.
Curriculum - Program of Study:
1. Subtle yogic anatomy and the Chakras
2. Anatomy and the physical/mental benefits of yoga
3. Teaching methodology, including yoga for diverse ages and student groups.
4. Method of instruction, benefits and cautions of 108 asanas (postures), 10 pranayamas (breathing techniques) and 2 kriyas (cleansing techniques)
5. Learning to create various class-styles: Gentle, Intermediate and Power Hatha yoga
6. Study and discussion of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, aphorisms giving insight into profound yogic practices, as well as their life-transforming benefits
7. Ashtanga philosophy (the eight-ford path)
8. Teaching practicum and feedback from the trainees/trainers
Tuition: $US 1’800/--
It includes 200 hours certification course, one yogic outfit, accommodation, 3 meals per day, 2 Sunday excursions, evening music/discussion programs, and airport pick-up.
Note: arrival in Delhi at International Airport should be on 1st, 8th, 15th and 21st day of every month commencing from September 2008 onward.
The airport pickup: Participants will be met at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, and will be taken either directly to the train to Rishikesh (if the plane arrives in the wee hours of the morning), or will be taken to a hotel in Delhi near the train station to sleep. The 4.5 hours train journey to Rishikesh departs from Delhi at 7 A.M.

The course offers yoga teachers of all traditions a unique opportunity for professional development and profound personal growth in the land of yoga’s origin, and in Rishikesh, the city of yoga!
Every morning will participate the transformative arts of purifications, prayers and meditation, exploring various different techniques and observing their effects. Following the meditation you will practice asana and pranayama in various class-styles, which you will explore and be trained in during the methodology classes.
Teacher trainees will study 5.5 days a week and on weekend will visit and explore natural beauty, local cultural and spiritual sites by excursions:
• Enjoy cultural excursions by visiting the holy city of Haridwar
• Meet yogic saints, explore artisan’s markets, attend the musical sunset ceremony, Aarati on the baks of the Ganges River.
• Visit the caves and homes of saints in the vicinity of Rishikesh.
