: Peru: Ica City on Steady Recovery Path after Earthquake

As I watch our brothers and sisters in Peru rebuild after the 8.0 earthquake,
I am humbly reminded of the amazing resilience of the human spirit.
As we feel sending our healing prayers and support is an important thing to do,
we also need to remember that sometimes saving one can also cripple them.
I am torn between wanting to find ways to help, and a deep feeling I have inside
that these people are a hell of a lot stronger than I am.
So what I send today, to my brothers and sisters in Peru is the realization,
that they are powerful beyond measure, and resourceful beyond anything I could imagine.

This is something a lot of us, including myself, could learn more about.
If we can put a side our "we can save the world arrogance",
maybe we can learn something about stainability and survival
and how to bounce back when the universe sends us a curve ball.
Maybe if we quit seeing the impoverished, the sick,
the suffering ones of this world with less than who we are,
maybe this consciousness alone could balance what we
perceive as differences in human race.
I don't want to feel sad for my brothers and sisters in Peru.
I want to celebrate them. I want to see them so strong that
I feel small in comparison.
And I hope one day I become as strong as they are.

We will be in Peru 9/10-27th with our amazing group : )
We are very excited about thie trip now more than ever.
I grew up in the earth quake lands of California,
and I know that earth quakes can release old stuck energy.
What follows is a very clear and elated up lifting energy.
So we expect that Peru will be buzzing and full of new LIGHT and energy.
I think it will be an amazing trip now more than ever.
We will send our freinds love and light and clarity from the Andes.
