A shift in attitude (the July shift brings new ideas to me)

(I posted this as a comment on a thread, but I am reposting it as a blog entry here
My personal changes since the July shift have been subtle, at first all there was was a sense of newness
but now I am seeing actual changes
even tho they are subtle)

I find it very interesting to read the changes we are all going thru as a result of the big 7/7/07 shift
And I am beginning to see what a shift means

It is a shift away from something and towards something else
Maybe it is like the very start of the season Spring beginning
because almost each day I discover some subtle new change in attitude in my life now

The one I noticed yesterday, was interesting
I had written a short story in the morning, as I often do
and sent it out on email to friends who I thought might like reading it
which I always do after I write a new story

This story included some of my spiritual experiences in it

Usually I am very careful not to send stories which include any spirituality in them, to friends who pooh pooh spirituality
(I don't want to upset them or aggravate them)

My attitude has always been, some few of us are into spirituality but most are not

But yesterday my attitude shifted about this for first time
I no longer wanted to cater to those who are not into spirituality

Instead I thought, "This is where it is at now, this is what is happening, many many many are into it, and if these particular friends aren't into it, that is their problem, they are choosing to be left behind

"I'm going to send them the story too and they can take it or leave it"

I can't explain the difference, but it was like the shoe was on the other foot
