Consider this Full Moon your midyear report card... a reality check... and perhaps, a BIG wake up call. Capricorn is the sign that takes care of business. It's time to ask yourself how far you've come regarding your plans and goals for 2007. The current planetary set-up indicates that you've reached a turning point in more ways than one... it's truth and/or consequences time.

Capricorn is the Moon of maturity showing you what you've grown, what you really want to grow, and where you still need to grow up. However, the Sun in Cancer shines light on your inner child and the importance and strength of your feelings, and your soul's path. You're reminded that true maturity is the willingness and ability to feel all your feelings and deal with any emotional baggage that's still needs to be unpacked. Only then will you be able to reclaim the energy and come into a place of true security and fulfillment.

Full Moons are always times to reflect, but your reflection takes on added meaning now...
First, the Solstice declared that you've entered the waning increasingly internal part of your year.
Second, that Divine messenger Mercury is still retrograde and sitting right next to the Cancer Sun continuing to shine light on old memories, fears, and childhood conditioning.

These are the culprits that keep you from trusting yourself and staying connected to your higher power and greater plan.

And finally, all the outer planets...
Uranus (sudden changes and wake-up calls),
Neptune (master of illusion, dissolution, unity and a higher love), and
Pluto (revealing the undermining shadow side of personal intolerance, judgements, and collective beliefs)
will be traveling in retrograde motion until Fall.

Don't be alarmed... this Divine rhythm kicks in every summer to get you to slow down, review, and take time to rebirth yourself and build a secure environment for new life. You're being asked to re-evaluate your priorities on all levels and ask yourself who you are now, where you fit in and support or undermine the bigger picture for humanity and the planet, and where you really want to go as the year slowly winds down.

At the time of every Full Moon, I always ask you to look back in your journal to six months ago... in this case, to the time of the Capricorn New Moon on January 18th and reflect on the intentions you seeded then. But as you can see, this request has added weight and meaning under this Full Moon's light, because, as I said, this is THE halfway point... the Capricorn Full Moon of sober reality checks. Looking back is easy if you've got your January journal handy. And if not, don't wait to get on track. Start living more deliberately and channel the energies that could drive you crazy in positive and magical ways to drive your intentions toward success instead.

Take stock of what will provide unconditional love and support for the new life you've grown and are now birthing out of the last six months vs. what mucks up your environment, waylays your progress, and keeps you stuck. You're turning a corner regarding the balance of priorities in your life. Are your values, priorities, and goals the same as they were when the year began?

Full Moons always call your attention to relationships, but this one indicates that you've reached a turning point in that area as well. Feelings of insecurity, jealousy or dependence that arise point to imbalances between meeting your emotional needs vs. those of your partner. If difficulties in communication arise and things start to get confrontational, this cycle's Gemini journal will help you to remember... these are your partners in life's journey, so gratitude is always in order.

You've had a challenging time of completion as old structures, beliefs, habits and patterns have been falling apart... dissolving as it were since last summer. The last hard hit came this past week, and now you can see where your personal blueprint needs tweaking and where old illusions must die.

'Should' is a big Capricorn word... where are you living from a place of "I should" rather than I want and I will? Where do you need to be more responsible and self-disciplined? Where are you still limited by a need for control and a lack of self-worth? This is a cosmic opportunity to break free of those old limiting sometimes crippling parental patterns and conditioning. What stands in your way? You'll find out and use the energies to your greatest advantage with a personal reading.

It's time to be that sober realist and check in with the health and success of your personal vision. Honor and respect yourself right where you are. Then you can open your heart and get excited about all the possibilities that are coming you're way .

Self-trust, self-love, and self-mastery. These imply a release of the illusion of control, because you remember who you really are... a child of spirit... a magnificent being in co-creation with All-That-Is.

So take some deep full breaths, and come into the safety and power of this Full Moon moment by releasing fear and listening to your heart and the whispers of your inner knowingness. Trust this and you'll be guided to the changes you need to make now and the perfect door to open next.
