A question about killing bugs

Is it alright?

Is it acceptable?

I am wondering because I have pondered this my whole life. I never exactly enjoyed killing anything, My compassion extends even to ants.

I thought about this as I watched a colony eating a piece of food in my kitchen tonight, All I did was move the piece of food outside and let them disassemble as they may be.

And what of mosquitos? They suck your blood, it's as if their purpose is strictly vampiric, and wouldn't we walk away from a psychic vampire?
