The evolution of the NAME Light Worker

 

 

 

For many years I have practiced a methodology of “Light Work”. A term I was introduced to in 1995 during my Reiki training. Without question I adopted this N.A.M.E. as my identity and practice.

In 2003 I decided to create an acronym for N.A.M.E. that defined itself as (“Now A Manifestation Exists”). What this means to me is once I name a person, place, thing or identity that N.A.M.E. creates a dynamic influence. Numerology is based on similar concepts of letters and numbers, when linked together create an identifiable influence relative to geometry and symmetry.

As I looked deeper into the meaning of the word Light Worker, I began to ask others questions in this field of study and their perception of this identity and practice.

1. What is a Light worker?

2. What is the intention of a Light worker?

3. What is a Light Worker’s definition of LIGHT?

4. What is a Light Workers definition of WORK?

What I discovered were varying definitions to all four questions, some alarmingly different and often contradictory. How is it possible then to unify the intentions and efforts of Light Workers when everyone has varying definitions to these questions?

Intention is an incredible influence in our reality that lays the groundwork for our actions and to create an environment that supports that action.

I then questioned:

· What if my intention is colored or filtered before I even state it?

· What if the resources I am utilizing are the result of a misunderstanding of the energetic design of the Universe?

· What if the name Light Workers creates a limitation or polarity on the very essence Light Workers intends to facilitate and create?

When I choose to use the word Light Worker (I work with the Light) as my identity or intention, the name creates a logical duality, being that there must be Dark Workers. This logic falls into the polarity paradigm of good and evil, right and wrong and creation and destruction.

For me the name Light Worker suggests I work with the “Light” as my attention and intention for myself and others.

In the event you resonate with ancient Chinese philosophies, Yin and Yang represent Universal principals:

At a certain point in T.I.M.E. Yin is known to represent Female and Yang is known to represent Male. The reason I am suggesting T.I.M.E.’s influence is because the Yin & Yang symbol represents a “snapshot” of a dynamic flow of infinite possibilities. This symbol in its natural state is in motion, flowing and moving in and out of form.

In this artistic snapshot Yin represents the passive-dark-feminine while Yang represents the active–light-masculine. Each contains an aspect of the other and cannot exist without the other.

Through logical deduction from the Yin and Yang philosophy, the name Light Worker (I work with the Light) could be interpreted as I set my intentions and environment to the masculine energy of bringing in light through action of my practice. I choose to identify my being as a practioner to the masculine energy. By my chosen N.A.M.E. Light Worker, the “dark” feminine is not involved in the process of my identity or practice.

I thought all this time I believed I was integrating Divine Feminine Wisdom and Divine Masculine Action equally, and yet my N.A.M.E. (Now A Manifestation Exists) potentially contradicts my intention of what I “work” with?

Through personal observation I discovered that my mind has been inaccurately trained to create definitions and identities of a person, place or event at one point in T.I.M.E. of an experience. I then mistakenly use that definition or “snapshot” as a means of a permanent reference or identity in the NOW. An analogy would be trying to define how the flow of water will react around my feet every time I step in a shallow river bed. This is an inaccurate method of defining ones reality because the water flow is always changing. If I were to photograph a snapshot of my foot and observe the water flow around it, I could then describe the events from my perspective. Anyone else looking at the picture of my feet in the water will have mutual observations and agreements followed by their own unique perceptions.

When I attempt to judge or define if what I AM observing or interacting with is good or bad or assign a polarity to my perception I create the limitations of that chosen experience in my mind. It is like constantly defining and referencing who I AM from a snapshot in T.I.M.E. When I feel resistance in my L.I.F.E. it is because I AM trying to conform to a snapshot identity that I created from a N.A.M.E. or someone else created and I chose to O.W.N. it. So how do we choose a N.A.M.E. that is in alignment with our dynamic N.A.T.U.R.E.?

One choice is choosing to understand that both Light and Dark exist as the result of the dynamic interaction with each other. One does not exist by itself. It is the construct of my mind that needs to compartmentalize dualities and polarities into rows and columns of definitions that I T.R.Y. to personify, T.R.Y. to judge and T.R.Y. to take sides to a dynamic flow that is always changing shape and form.

Another choice is to choose a N.A.M.E. that defines my identity and practice that are dynamic in nature.

I have a few suggestions on choosing a N.A.M.E.:

The acronym for M.U.S.I.C. is Mathematical Universe Souls Instrumental Connection

  • I feel we are all INSTRUMENTS of Intuition and Logic within the energetic design of the Universe.

  • I have the ability and choice to ORCHESTRATE my life using logic and intuition equally.

  • I acknowledge everything is in HARMONY, regardless on how I perceive it. It is perfect when I allow it to be what it is to be.

  • There is a CAUSE and EFFECT dynamic taking place in every moment of my life.

When I observe a musician playing his or her instrument, it is dynamic. The flow, the tone, the vibration are in a delicate dance with the artist. No two performances are exactly the same and yet there is an attraction to see that performer again and again. Why? Because of their identity and practice to their chosen instrument is dynamic. The musician CAUSES notes/vibrations to play and the audience provides the feedback from the EFFECTS of the music being played.

So in essence what I AM is an ARTIST playing my INSTRUMENT, ORCHESTRATING the acknowledgement of HARMONY in the world of CAUSE and EFFECT.

To enhance my understanding of CAUSE and EFFECT, I created an acronym for L.I.G.H.T. and D.A.R.K.:

LIGHT: Living In Gratitude Harmony Truth

This acronym defines my practice. This is also a CHOICE on how to live. Choices contain the energetic influence of CAUSE.

DARK: Divine Answer Reflecting Kinetics

For those who are not familiar with the word Kinetics, it is the EFFECTS of forces (CHOICES) on the motion of a body or system of bodies, especially of forces that do not originate within the system itself. D.A.R.K. is the Divine Answer and Reflection of our CHOICES.

My understanding now is Light and Dark are a dynamic flow of CAUSE (LIGHT) and EFFECT (DARK).

Once I realized that LIGHT and DARK are simply making a choice and my YoUniverse answers my choice and creates my reality, I NOW integrate BOTH as a DESIGN without a beginning or an end. It is just a continuous flow of CAUSE and EFFECT experiences based on my Thoughts, Words, Actions and Feelings.

Any other perception or definition of Light Workers and Dark Workers are the result of a perceived judgment that is someone’s “snapshot” reality of a moment in T.I.M.E. We have a CHOICE to either integrate that perception or create our own. As with any belief system the number of co-creators that chooses to O.W.N. this definition an E.N.T.I.T.Y. is created with a mathematical proportion of influence relative to its creators. In others words the more people that buy into it, the higher the probability I will buy into it. (Also known as the 100th Monkey theory).

To further understand the inaccurate logic of defining myself as a Light Worker, with the new definition of LIGHT and DARK. Is stating to myself and my YoUniverse that:

  • I only breathe out air.
  • My eyelids always remain open
  • My heart only pumps blood out to my organs, tissues etc..
  • I speak words, but choose not to listen.
  • I give energy, but choose not to receive.
  • …
  • …


As an artist/practioner of interacting with CAUSE and EFFECT dynamics, I have come to understand from my own experiences and when facilitating sessions with people the Divine Answer Reflecting Kinetics reveals itself in our Physical, Mental and Emotional bodies from:

  • Energetic influences of a person’s day to day choices and beliefs.
  • The dynamics of when a person chooses not to choose (holding patterns) including:

    • Past choices with R.E.G.R.E.T.
    • Future choices influenced by F.E.A.R.
    • Genetic D.N.A. (holding patterns) of their ancestors (P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E.S.)
    • …

The dynamic flow of CAUSE and EFFECT in a person’s life can be experienced through sensory methods that I have perceived as colors, sounds, symbolism and metaphors. These energetic influences manifest in all facets of the Human Energy Field, depending on your sensitivity and personal dynamics you will perceive them in your own unique way. (Just like you describing the photograph of my feet in a river bed). Keeping in mind the session is a moment in T.I.M.E., a snapshot. The moment I interact with a person through focused perception, energy orchestration or physical touch with a client, friend or lover we become a temporary paired dynamic. Ancient cultures consider this a S.A.C.R.E.D. ceremony. It is two aspects of the Universe observing and interacting with one another. Giving and Receiving valuable information with the intention to H.E.A.L. (Helping Everyone Accept L.O.V.E.)
Over the years in my massage practice with clients I have come to realize when I choose to make myself available for healing I do. Even though the conscious role has been defined as Practioner/Client, E.N.E.R.G.Y. flows in both directions, meaning not only am I giving I AM also receiving. Every H.U.M.A.N. being has within themselves a Universal Lineage that can be accessed if chosen to acknowledge and integrate. Another acronym for H.E.A.L. is (Helping Everyone Accept Liability.) The moment we become responsible of our Thoughts, Words, Actions and Feelings we return as the stewards of our temple and orchestrate our lives as we choose to experience.

It is a day to day commitment and practice as an ARTIST to Live In Gratitude Harmony Truth and acknowledging the responsibility of ORCHESTRATING my Thoughts, Words, Actions and Feelings. I AM HARMONY and I will know when I AM in alignment with my dynamic N.A.T.U.R.E. by my Physical, Mental and Emotional experiences. For they are revealed to me through the Divine Answer Reflecting Kinetics.

As I close the circle of this article I want to thank all BEINGS involved in its manifestation. This is a living document with permission to change and evolve. The words written are my perception, my reality and I do not impose them as the only definition, including the acronyms. My intention is to Inspire, Enhance and Heal aspects of my journey and share them with other co-creators. I honor all comments, feedback and suggestions for I acknowledge we are all students, teachers and healers together sharing in the H.U.M.A.N. experience.
