Earthquake in Kent (UK)

As it was a day off work I was still in bed at 8:19 this morning, although strangely as it seems now that was exactly the time I turned round and looked at my clock! An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale had struck just off the English Channel and affected the towns of Dover and Folkestone with, besides other things, power cuts and collapsed chimneys!
