End of channeling?

It might be a bit challenging to state this but I feel to say that it is time for us to stop 'channeling' and put our own earthly name to the spiritual messages that we write down.
I say this because I feel that the impersonal is quite ready to become personal. Spirit as seen or felt or heared as something that is coming in...if it is coming from within...from the Heart receivers's end....why call this form of (recieving) messages a channel? Why not simply state that it is really you, as simple as that?

I wanted to say this for quite some time. I feel that channeling as such is an externalisation of something that happens, at its core, within the Heart of the chaneller, but is too uncertain, scaired, or whatever to completely embrace the message as being of one's one divine Self.

Ehhm, I challenge especially people who channel to respond as maybe this question/statement of mine may also refer to something I am currently unaware of. Please give some opinions here as giving opinions and judgmental break-outs are divided by a thin line, as I feel it, that can easily and joyfully crossed.
