Can someone explain the significance of Twin Rainbows?

yesterday my daughter yelled for me to come to the door to see a rainbow, the instant i opened the door she exclaimed, 'there's two'. by that time hubby made it to the door and we all 3 got a glimpse of the second rainbow before it quickly faded away. the first remained for several mintues more. I feel inclined to mention the rainbows were the exact same lenght and 'appeared' as only about 5 feet apart (hope that makes sense).
