They are so innocent and they seek love

They are so innocent and they seek love.
I've seen so many children in my dreams, very lost or left without the light or fun or hope and they appear alone in the places I go in my dreams. I cheer them up and help them, get out of their state of mind. Sometimes they appear as if they are about to cry and when I am spending time with them they seem to come out of a very very long sadness and feel empowered.
I wonder who are these spirits and souls.
