Guardian angels?

Just wondering guys, I have heard somewhere before that it's possible to summon your guardian angel by asking for acknowledgement they exist. Does anyone know how to do this? Or indeed know how to make any general contact? Or know how to find out the name of your angel? Does each person just have one? Sorry for the many questions! :)
