~Surrender ~ The Lotus Flower~

Deep down in the pond sat a little seed. This seed was content being a seed. One
afternoon when the seed was contemplating its existence, it felt a rumbling in its
tummy. This rumbling had happened before, but never had it gone on for so long and
so powerfully. Suddenly, the seed burst out and began growing downward even deeper
into the Earth as well as upward through the water toward the light in the sky.

One day, the stem of the new plant emerged from within the water and with one
huge breath; it blossomed into a lotus flower, resting on top of the water. The leaves
opened up to absorb the radiant sunshine as the pure white lotus flower emerged from
her womb. The seedling set forth on a remarkable journey from the bottom of the
muddy pond to the open sky on top of the water.

Open and radiating, the lotus flower is perfect. There is a wonderful aspect of the
flower that unites its existence with a message for all to receive. The entire plant lives
in water as the leaves and flower reside on the surface of the water. Although this is the
case, the leaves of the flower do not hold any water upon them. The lotus flower
reminds us to be grounded in this world, but be free and to exist not of it.
Be a seed; nurture your seed with love, water and sunshine: allow your seed to
grow at its own pace: be still when it is time to be still: grow when it is time to
grow: keep focused on the journey: remain awake during the journey: feed your
seedling with kindred love: dig your roots in deep into the Earth: grow towards
the light: blossom into your fullest potential: rest: eat well: love yourself: emerge
from the depths into the illuminated sky: be still: just be: let go: stay awake: Close
your petals to conserve energy: Open your petals to invite in pure energy: give a
petal to those that need it: be open to movement and change: ask for what you
need and trust that you will receive it: love yourself: allow yourself to transition
into whatever form is in your highest good: know that you have your own unique
scent: you are only responsible for your own growth: grow: smile: share from your
heart: speak from your heart: know that you are interconnected with All That Is:
blow in the wind, you are free: release when it is time: come back and do it all
over again. Go buy some seeds and plant them today.

Today surrender to all the old ways that no longer serve your Highest Good. Surrender all of your old habits that do not lift you up to your best life. Surrender to Living Your Best Life today.
