Are women hear scared of using their itellect even though they have spouses and children?

Please be honest but for some women does having a significant other make it difficult to use your intellect. I have to in order to survive my life at university but for other women is it intimidating? Because if I had been a house wife for sometime and never attended university I would find it spiritual intimidating
