Turtle

So I dreamt I was walking along the side of the road, as I looked over I saw what appeared to be a dead turtle. It looked to have been dead for a long time. It had been run over and was dry and flaky. I thought oh how sad, but then I saw it was still barely alive. So I ran over grabbed it and took it to a water faucet. I turned on the water and wet the turtle, in an instant it turned a beautiful shade of green and was fully healed. She was trying to drink water, so I put her mouth to the spout. I could see through her and she was filling up. Though I didn't fill her all the way, I didn't want to make her sick. I tucked her under my arm and took her with me.
I know that I have revived something in me I thought was dead. But I don't have any books like Animal Speak, and my computer is only letting me log onto WOS (weird). So could someone tell me the significanse of the Turtle?
