Change of Focus

This is a blog I wrote from a message that I received from Mother Earth a few weeks back. In honor of Earth Week, I am sharing this with everyone. Enjoy!

Laying here one night trying to sleep I received a message (that is normally the times I receive my messages) that was very profound in my opinion. I had a conversation similar to this the night before with a dear friend, though the full impact of the message I didn't receive until the early hours of this morning.

It seems that in this day, the new movement towards spirituality, the primary focus of many is healing the Earth. The normal mantra is that we are destroying her so it is our responsibility as a person and a civilization to heal her. This thinking is not incorrect in the least but I think it detracts from the primary focal point of where our energies as healers lay.

Mother Earth is a living breathing organism that has been around for millions of years, if not longer. She is a tough cookie and knows how to heal herself. What she can't do is heal the people and civilizations that are trying to destroy her at a rapid rate. This is where we come in as healers. Many of you may have already figured out that our primary focus should be healing ourselves, healing each other, and healing our civilizations, because until we heal those, the raping and pillaging of Mother Earth will not stop so the healing work she does on herself is just to sustain her in the damage as opposed to healing her from it.

Focusing energy is very important to achieve the goal, and if our energies are split into too many focal points, none of the points receive enough energy to create the full impact of what we want those energies to do. So if we have some healers focusing on healing the earth, some focusing on healing themselves, some focusing on healing others, etc., none of them will be truly healed because our energies are unfocused and scattered. We are all connected; to Mother Earth, and to each otther, so we should all focus on one or the other, but not both. Everyone one of us must shift their focus to healing ourselves, healing other people, and healing the civilizations so we can stop the raping and pillaging of Mother Earth while she is healing herself. Once our focus is centralized and in unison, greater changes will occur to help and protect Mother Earth.

Because we are connected to the earth, grounded by her, when we do healing work on ourselves, on others, and on our civilizations, Mother Earth still receives love and healing energy from us when we do healing work. This energy helps her heal herself, though our focus is not on her. So by focusing our energy on ourselves and others to correct the problem, we are infact healing the earth, even though our focus is not on her directly.

This is why we must change our focus if we are going to change our world.
