Pics of the new Sweat Lodge at the new location
I am proud of the new ceremony location and I also proud to have been apart of building it for on going ceremonies! For those that want to participate, and sweat, keep in mind, what you put into it is what you get out of it. So, if you are going for more than a sweat, it is important to show up atleast and hour early and help set up. Setting up includes raking the ground around the fire pit and the walking areas around the lodge and any main area people are going to be walking in. Bringing out the blankets to put onto the lodge and putting them onto the lodge...decorating the alters. Setting your intention prior is helpful. Bring with you the prayers you want to say for yourself and others. Be ready for release and know it is a safe place to do what ever it is you came to do. The ceremony is well guided and very powerful in its spiritual intent. Many spirits of guidance and light come forth each time to assist, not to mention our stone people friends that get heated up in the fire and brought one by one into the lodge. Oh yes, can't forget about the standing ones! :) It is always a beautiful ceremony and I am eager to see more and more show up. Love and light to all of you and enjoy the pics! They are the pictures that were taken the day of the new lodge. It was a very very spiritual and wonderful, and incredible and eventful ceremony that went on for 12 hours. Actually when you make an intent to go, lodge starts 4 days prior and extends 4 days after. If you do not know what I am talking about and you are planning on going...set your intent to go that week and you will see what I mean. Love and light to all.
