"Legalized drug addiction"...

I have read many posts here where people talk about taking certain drugs to control certain ailments and... I sometimes wonder how many people my age don't take "legalized drugs". I must admit that I have not been to a doctor for at least 10 years now and haven't needed one for that matter. I don't know what my blood pressure or cholesterol readings are, and you know what?...I don't care...lol
 
I was diagnosed with SLE, systemic lupus erythamatosis in 1979, at the tender age of 26 yr. They put me on prednisone and after about 3 months I stopped taking it. At the time, I was given a life expectancy, if I took the prednisone, of 10 years...hmm, guess I didn't buy into what the doctors told me. I AM very healthy as I type, almost 30 yrs. later... I just wonder how many people buy into the drug industry's promises of "fixing our ailments with just a little pill"...does anyone really read or listen to the side affects of these "legal" drugs? I think that may be the subject of my next poll; "How many legalized, FDA approved drugs do you take?"...of course, as one ages, the number of legal prescriptions goes up. Coming from a family that goes to the doctor (god almighty) at the slightest sniffle or sneeze, I AM suprised that I have not also bought into this scam of the big drug companies...but so very grateful that I didn't. Just curious as to how many of the Lightworkers here are taking one or more "prescribed (and therefore o.k.)" drugs?
 
Why do we all buy into the pharmaceutical's lies about taking a magic pill(s) and all will be o.k....but what about the interactions between two or more of these chemical concoctions over several years of use? I take the occasional aspirin and maybe pepto bismol, but that's it...am I a freak??? Shouldn't I, at 55 yr. be taking at least 5 or more doctor-prescribed drugs?...and my answer is....NO!  Well, that is the end of my rant against "legal", but not necessarily safe, drugs...
