Fibromyalgia

Ok - so not really sure why I am posting this, probably too much info, but what the hell. I had read in someone else's blog earlier today about Fibro, and having been diagnosed - can't remember who posted the blog, and it really doesn't matter - but thought I would put my 2 cents in.

Fibro has been around and diagnosed since at least 1990 - I had been diagnosed with it around then. It is a miserable condition, but totally fixable by changing your mindframe. A friend of mine does angel readings and she stated all of the people who have fibro have energies that are all over the place.

It is a vicious cycle of feeling good, overdoing it, then feeling bad and left in bed for several days... plus adding to it the mental depression that comes from hurting all of the time.

I got it after a trauma, which happened when I was 16. From then til I was 21, I was basically told I was nuts and to go get therapy. Well, I did get therapy and still felt like crap. Long story short, I worked on myself and have finally gotten it under complete control. If you met me, you would never guess how I used to feel.

Which brings me to the fact that there are a lot of things to try - yoga, reiki, detox - hugely important... exercise and learning to let go. So anyhow...recently the Discovery Channel was at my house filming... it airs on 5/25 - no idea what times. Please ignore the yoga out fit if you watch it! LOL I am in the process of dropping 20 lbs - so I am a bit scared to see how large my ass looks on TV.

Anyway - if anyone wants to discuss fibro - feel free to contact me.

Love, Karen
