Abundance....when everthing is going wrong?

Dearest Lightworkers and Lovely Beings...

My family and I have been struggeling with the most disruptive of energies...money...we've been trying to stay afloat for some time now...I do abundance work with positive affirmations and visualization...but it seems that when you think you might get ahead, an obstacle comes into the picture and it seems all is lost...now, don't get me wrong, with how today is going, I usually would be in tears and in a panic...but amazingly, I'm calm...but I was wondering if there is more I could be doing..my lover is not really into the "new age" stuff and he can be quite negative about situations...not towards me, just toward financial situations...is there something else I could be doing to remove these obstacles so that we can focus on life instead of money?
