Exercise and Spirituality
Ok so I finally decided to get my butt back to the gym, so I decided to post something here about exercise and spirituality. This two things go hand in hand, if you don't work out, you most likely will become or get one of the following:
1 - Become depressed
2- Become overweight
3- Become moody
4 - Your body feels tired all the time
5 - and finally your spiritual practice suffers as well.
So from all 5 I got them all...lol, and it was not a pretty sight.I became depressed, moody and very tired. It's very true that not working out or excercising will affect and affects your inner peace, yous spiritual growth, your whole as a person.
Working out isn't just healthy, but also is good for your mind, without pumping blood to your heart, your brain doesn't work properly as well. When I didn't work out for a while, I looked awfull, my face was like pale and lifeless, but I am grateful I went back to gym, I'm even in better mood, even if my son spills milk on the carpet, I laugh and jus let it go, even if I dislike my job, I make the best of it, see? working out has it's benefits.
So let's get physical here and workout our spirit,,,,
Surf
Water rafting
Swimm
Skateboarding
Whatever you like, just go outside and workout your spirit
