We Are Still Here! Remember?
Who could forget the sitar-like harmonies of Crosby, Stills
and Nash, the "better living through chemistry" pulsations
of Sly and the Family Stone, the chanting of Country Joe and
the Fish, and the wonderfully wacky, Wavy Gravy?
Woodstock-a place where half a million people gathered for
peace, love, and music.
The event represented a generation of youth.
If there is any significance about Woodstock it is the
symbolic irony of it.
The Woodstock audience was composed of enlightened
and compassionate liberals-at least that is what they thought
of themselves.
These were people who wanted to feed the poor and help the helpless.
You could see them sitting around fires, maybe near a lean-to
they had built from leaves and branches or near some crummy
outasite truck or next to a big worn green tent.
The new family.
Tribes sharing their possessions, breaking down the obsolete
patterns of race or religion or background. Classless.
Barriers broken down by dope and by learning to survive
in the death culture.
These were the children of the Universe searching for the
new city in the midst of the old one, the new people of an
electronic age that were breaking down the barriers of a
worn-out, wasteful, suicidal, killer world.
So much resistance, so much hope, so many symbols
stolen and corrupted.
Woodstock was the third largest city in New York for three days.
Strength came in numbers and in the common experience
of 500,000 strong.
The new family.
Prisoner on the planet earth, began to grow and gain strength.
Know that we are still here.. Our souls..
Our loving souls have generated these numbers way beyond this..
By the Millions!!
Generation by generation! Over thousands and
thousands of years!!
And now more than ever we are making an impact to
all of Humanity!!

Funny how we think we lost ourselves in this world..
But it has proven itself through out the years that we are
still trudging on with love as a community.. with UNITY..
AS ONE LOVE!!
I feel my soul past present and future through all of this..
We are still whole.. We continually heal from the wounds of this
broken, and harsh earth, that was and is placed upon us...
We, you and I are existing on this earthly plane by the purest
form of fuel..
That is LOVE!!
May this wisdom, this precious knowledge keep feeding humanity.
And if there is one more explosion before 2012 or during..
LET IT BE THE EXPLOSION OF LOVE
