March 19, Wednesday. Today the Moon is occulting Regulus visible in New Zealand, East Melanesia, Samoa, Tahiti, Polynesia, Antarctica and then the Moon moves into Virgo and conjuncts Saturn. Regulus is one of the four royal stars marking the heart of the lion energizing the heart through radical self-love, self-forgiveness and self-compassion and a magical Behenian star as well. If you had the good fortune to see last month’s total lunar eclipse you may have notice the star above the Moon. That was Regulus and the star appearing to the lower left of the Moon was Saturn. With Saturn so close to Regulus this occultation is sure to magnify the magical effect accelerated by last month’s lunar eclipse as we enter the Equinox Solar Gate.

The Sun is crossing the March Equinox point of Zero Aries at 11:49 pm MDT and 10:49 pm PDT. This means today and tomorrow we are in the precise window of the Equinox Solar energies. At the Equinox the Sun makes its path directly over the Equator bringing and equal balance of Day and Night to both Hemispheres of the Earth.

The Sun’s path over the equator decreases the usual strength of the Earth’s magnetic field. The magnetic field moves clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and counter clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere creating a spiral magnetic effect. (This picture shows the magnetic fields rotating in opposite directions.) Twice each year as the Sun passes over the equator the magnetic energies of both hemispheres are at their lowest potency. This means for about 24 hours before and after the exact Equinox point it is easier to connect with other dimensions energizing otherworldly magic that holistically benefits the Earth.

March 20, Thursday. Happy Vernal Equinox for the Eastern Time Zones. The Sun crosses zero Aries at 1:49 am Eastern Daylight Time. The Chaco Canyon complex, along with many pyramids, temples and standing stone circles have been built around the planet to capture the magic of the Equinox Solar Effect. In South America, there is a pyramid at Chichen Itza known as Kukulkan (feathered serpent) famous for the undulating serpent shadow cast down the stairs of the pyramid by the rising Equinox Sun.

At another Mayan temple Near Merida, Yucatan, Mexico the light of the Sun passes through special openings in the temple illuminating the center of a column of stone about a hundred yards away. You can also pick your own place to observe the Sunrise. March 21, Friday. The Equinox Libra Full Moon (1 Libra 31) finds both the Sun and the Moon square Pluto (1 Capricorn 31) and Mars (6 Cancer) forming a Grand Cardinal Cross. The closest aspect in this cross is the Pluto square to the Sun and the Moon. Whenever the Sun (1 Aries 31) squares Pluto it signals the slowing of Pluto before its Retrograde station. This year Pluto goes Retrograde on April 2. This Full Moon square Pluto is illuminating any shadow places that are preventing us from fully and passionately living life. These shadow elements include our fears, limiting beliefs about who we are, our forgotten and/or denied talents, abilities and skills, our buried feelings, and our unconscious wounds especially around our relationship with ourselves and others.

For those with planets or angles between 28 degrees of mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sag, and Pisces) and 2 degrees of Cardinal signs (Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, Libra) you are on the leading edge of this Pluto initiation suggesting it is time to die to who you believe yourself to be and open to an empowered rebirth. Surrendering your attachments and letting go of the old forms greatly helps facilitate the Pluto initiatory process.

When we are willing to turn toward what we fear and integrate it in our life we are no longer driven by it. When we are no longer driven by fear it loses its power to choose where we are going. We shift our experience from being at the effect of whatever fear is driving us to incorporating it in such a way that it becomes our strength, our gift, the medicine we carry. Willingness to engage your shadow including any fears, or ideas, or beliefs, or things you are hanging onto, releasing whatever is ready to leave your life supports the empowering process Pluto initiations intend for us.

March 22, Saturday. Mercury and Venus dance within one degree of each other from March 20 to 26 and are in the same degree from March 21 to 24. Today Mercury maybe visible in more southern locations low on the eastern horizon before the Sun rises less than one degree south of Venus (12 Pisces). This indicates an intensification of the guidance and support Venus is receiving from Mercury before she goes through the 8th gate initiation next month. (See March 5)

March 23, Sunday. Easter Sunday. The Moon is passing by Spica just before moving into Scorpio the archetypal energy most known for being a master generator of Life Force Energy, of Will, and of Desire. Our primary evolutionary process is NOT about getting over our human desires or somehow evolving past them.

Scorpio School says desire is fine and is in fact a part of the human experience. It is our attachment to the way we want our desires to manifest that causes pain, frustration, and other problems. When we learn how to be with our desires without attachment to how they manifest, then Life Force Energy is free to manifest in the most powerful and life supporting ways possible. Not being attached to results often means that what actually manifests is more amazing than what we were imagining anyway.

March 24, Monday. Messenger Mercury is bringing the Queen of Heaven Venus (14 Pisces) an important message as they join together less than one degree apart in the constellation of Aquarius just 20 degrees ahead of the Sun in the morning sky. They rise about a half hour before the Sun in mid-northern latitudes so they probably won’t be visible but it is worth tuning into the messages that are available anyway.

March 25, Tuesday. As we approach the Sun/Mars Square on March 30 it is time to revisit the effects of the Mars Retrograde over the Galactic Edge. I have shared in the past that there is increasing scientific evidence that the Earth experiences increased Galactic energy every 13,000 years when the Solstices align with the Galactic Plane. Scientists are now finding that every 13,000 years a burst of light containing some kind of alchemical substance (light codes perhaps?) comes from the center of our Galaxy as evidenced by the layers of iridium and rhodium found in the Earth’s strata at 13,000 year intervals.

In 1997 Alexey Dimitreiv published information that all the planets in our solar system are dramatically increasing signs of energetic activity, including atmospheric pressure, brightness from the Aurora Borealis, magnetic field strength and cataclysmic activity and this is one of the signs that our entire solar system is moving into an area of the Galaxy where this hyper-dimensional energy is higher. http://www.divinecosmos.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=10...

In the 1980’s, Daniel Giamario, founder of Shamanic Astrology, began sharing information that the December Solstice marked by zero Capricorn in our Seasonal Cycle was to align with the exact intersection of the Milky Way and the Ecliptic. In the early 1990’s astronomer John Muess calculated this intersection would be exact in May 1998. Synchronistically, in May of 1998 scientists began noticing a new energy belt of highly charged atoms appearing in the Earth’s Van Allen belt.

The Van Allen Radiation Belt is a torus of energetic charged particles (plasma) around Earth, held in place by Earth's magnetic field. The Van Allen belts are closely related to the polar aurora where particles strike the upper atmosphere and fluorescence. All this is to say something very interesting is going on not just on Earth but in our entire Solar System and Galaxy. Scientists are now pondering what many feel is an imminent Galactic Superwave burst of (blue) light energy coming from our Galactic Center may be imminent as we approach 2012 and beyond. March 26, Wednesday. The Moon moves into Sagittarius and occults Antares (10 Sagittarius) visible in North New Zealand, Polynesia, Southern South America, and Antarctica. For the rest of us we will see the Moon Near this heart star of the Scorpion. The Sagittarian mysteries explore the multi-dimensional levels of truth as it relates to our conscious in the moment experience. There are many layers and levels to explore here, thus Sagittarius is known for the ever expanding spiritual quest into new dimensions of experience. The Moon is opening the Antares Stargate further transmitting divine wisdom into the physical world. Antares is the royal star most connected with Archangel Uriel who transmitted the Celestial Mysteries to Enoch. (See May 2007 Archives)

March 27, Thursday. Mercury (20 Pisces) conjuncts Uranus (20 Pisces) energizing events of extreme novelty. (see March 11) Uranus and Mercury are experimental energies intended to produce novel results. In the realm of Pisces novelty expresses through heartfelt experiences of radical compassion and healing. These expressions come from a genuine ability to deeply feel not only love, but sorrow and grief. It is helpful to allow these feeling to be just as they are and receive the gifts they have to give us.

March 28, Friday. Moon returns to Capricorn and conjuncts Pluto for the second time this month. (See March 1) Venus conjuncts Uranus at 20 Pisces, encountering the unpredictable revolutionary energies of Uranus. In Pisces, this is the expression of the magical feminine as the compassionate world healer through her ability to dream and connect with the imaginary realms where creative genius originates. Innovative Uranus revolutionizes how Venus shows up to be of radical, revolutionary, and yet compassionate sacred service outside of what we normally consider ordinary reality.

March 29, Saturday. The ‘out of bounds” Capricorn Last Quarter Moon (10 Capricorn) is a great time for organizing our thoughts, plans, actions and space around us in ways that help to integrate effective expressions of who we really are. When in balance the Capricorn mysteries operate with awareness of how our actions effect the next seven generations and how we can actively contribute to the health and well being of our personal and collective environment? Are we conscious stewards of the Earth? If not what can we change to be in greater harmony?

March 30, Sunday. Moon conjuncts Jupiter (20 Capricorn) expanding the mysteries of responsible stewardship of the Earth and considering the effects of our actions on the next seven generations to follow. The Moon in many native traditions is considered the wise Grandmother watching over, guiding and assisting the peoples of Mother Earth. The Capricorn archetype is recovering its ancient expression as the “circle of grandmothers” who wisely guide all those who will listen. Now more than ever it is time to listen to the wisdom of the grandmothers, the elders, the ones who know and can guide us through these uncertain times.

Sun (10 Aries) squares Mars (10 Cancer) marking the acceleration of growth for Mars in its direct phase. This is similar to a first quarter Moon when the Sun and Moon are square each other and the Moon visibly grows bigger each night. This is the time when Mars commits to further his quest crossing an important threshold or gateway into the heart of the journey. Essentially this means there is no turning back now. The sacred masculine principle must move forward in his quest to discover and implement successful healthy ways of caring for family, tribe, community and the Earth.

March 31, Monday. The Moon moves into Aquarius transmitting the mysteries of ultimate freedom from the known as we embrace unexpected events of extreme novelty. Embracing the unknown is liberating, however, it can often be scary. When we can trust that all creation is evolving toward greater expressions of love and light through multi-dimensional layers and levels of divine manifestation then we know everything that happens is moving to fulfill that purpose. It is much easier to ride the waves of change when we can surrender and trust the process. Especially when we consider these evolutionary changes are revolutionizing our world with or without our cooperation.
