Pipe ceremony!!!

I get to help out at a pipe ceremony over the weekend!!!! It's, like, so awesome!!! I don't know what the people are really gonna DO... but I get to help and stay over all weekend... (did I already say that?!?!) If anyone knows the answers to any of these questions... help would be just peachy!!! ^_^

1. What is a pipe ceremony??
2. What kind of energy is it supposed to generate?
3. (Similar to #1) What do you do at a ceremony??
