Prayer Changes Things

My cousin and I were feeling upset about a relative of ours. She cooks and cleans for her kids, she drives them around to various activities, but she really doesn't bond with them. We were noticing that her little 6 old girl is really feeling the lack of attention. We decided to say a traditional prayer to St Michael for the situation. The next time my cousin went over there to visit, the atmosphere of the home was totally different, the mom was listening to her little one playing the piano, clapping, and hugging her, and the little girl was basking in her mom's love. The funny thing is that WE were surprised! Why were we so surprised by the power of prayer???????
