Quick blog on the Fragility of life
My cat Ebony went missing this morning no usual greeting and friendly yowl. A walk around the lanes and still no sight of her. I had then thoughts on the Fragility of life.
It has made me think of other times. The deaths of my parents and other events, three years ago when the police came to my front door at 12 O'clock at night, to say that my 24 year old Daughter, had been a passenger in a fatal car accident. She remained in a coma for 10 days. A motorcyclist had hit the car she was in, side on and crushed my daughter. killing himself and leaving a fiancee. We were told she had little chance of survival because her diaphragm was torn, she was air lifted to Derriford Hospital and she survived.
When she was in a Coma I told her to go to Tibet, When she came back to us, 10 days later she said "Dad you never guess where I've just been?". "I know" I said giving her hand a big Squeeze.
Life is so fragile, as if we are made of paper.
I know There is a power so great it holds us all in It's caring hand.
I have no fear, only human sadness, happiness and Love, for what has passed and what is to come.
And there is my cat at the window and I am content
