Sleep Paralylisis

Does anyone else suffer from this? I have had it since I was 16. You think you are awake, but a humming sound that comes from your body and around you, and you cannot move.

I have learnt over time to get rid of it(it is a big effort), so I can control it now.
When I go to bed sometimes, and the buzzing starts in my head and body, I either reject it, or welcome (because now I have control)and when I welcome, I am sent into weird places. Once I was in Antarctica, and I was a Seal!
But before I learnt to control it (not total control, I still have to work hard)it was cats biting and clawing me, bats etc so real, and I am making myself wake up, I realise I am still asleep when I see myself in bed!
This is very weird - does anyone else have this, or insights?
