Poem For The Warrior

You know and define yourself by your own standard.
You are a warrior of light and wear the symbols
which are your mojo and your confession candid.
Your sword is drawn prudently by your hand nimble.

You are a warrior defending faith professed.
You live your life completely to your heart's desire.
You're being guided by the angel in your breast.
It's your sturdiness and beauty I admire.

You are my warrior of light and truth and trust.
You wear faith on your sleeve and honour in your shield.
On your body tattoos form your armour robust,
to me they are a map to your soul's core unsealed.

You are but the screen for my dreams and fantasies,
yet you are real and I can't stand that we're apart.
I sense that you are near when joy swells up in me
and in your distance you feel me massage your heart.

So far I only know you from my dreams homespun
and when I sleep you visit me to give me strength.
When I'm awake I dream we fight and love as one,
you share my fears, my joys, my life in its full length.

Yes, I know someday I will meet you, then we'll fuse
for I am you and you are me; fused by a seraph,
our united light will shine in rainbow hues.
You are a warrior and I will give you love.
