Meaning of dreams of "Swimming" through the air?

Dear Lightworkers,

I've had dreams every now and then since childhood which have mystified me. Although I often see mention of "flying" dreams, every so often I have "swimming" dreams. I may be indoors or outside and there are always other people present. I then push myself off the ground with my feet and begin to move my arms in a swimming motion, parting the air, and I start to lift off the ground, becoming more weightless and rising higher.

There are two notably peculiar elements to these dreams. One, is that in every dream, I remember being able to do this "swimming in the air technique" before in my previous dreams, except that while I'm dreaming it, I believe that they have all been very real experiences which are linked together.

Two, just before I begin to "swim" I say/think to myself: "I possess a special ability" as if the people around me are completely unaware of what I'm about to do. I can even remember the way it feels the moment I awake and I am usually overcome with sadness when I realize that I infact, cannot do this in reality.

An interesting thing to note. I was never a good swimmer above-water because I lack the upper body strength to swim well. However, no one ever had to teach me to swim underwater which is where the real fun is ... I've been able to do summersaults and the like since I can remember. The only barrier being that I cannot breathe underwater as well.

I've always envied the astronauts, suspended in weightlessness "swimming around" in space ... since they are doing EXACTLY what I do in my dreams.

Any thoughts?
