MIZ RIZE TURNING SEVENTY FIVE.. (75)

How can I tell you how it feels to be 75? Well I just got up from the computer and danced. So in a word...WONDERFUL! I am outside of myself with joy. Intending to travel to Panama for my
birthday on March 24th. I am most joyful to be in good health.

Two weeks ago I helped to build a Habitat for Humanity Home. It was an all women build. It was awesome to arrive at the site and turn a pile of lumber into the frame, then raise it to become a wall...wow ...I was ready to sit down and write a poem the minute I heard the ring of the first hammer (yes we used hammers-lol).
The new home owner is 25 years old. I did not work hard. LOL
It was great satisfaction and something I always wanted to do.

Saturday I was a "midwife storyteller"in reenactment at Fort Mose
in ST.Augustine, Florida. (Google Fort Mose to get that story if you choose.)

At 3pm that day I read my poetry at a Black History Program.

Had Dinner with friends at 5pm in town then drove home.

On Tuesday I drove four hours to South Florida where I am
resting and cat-sitting on the computer and reading books.

Just want to put 75 in perspective for you. lol
