What do you do when you empty glass jars? Throw them in the rubbish…..rinse and toss them in the recycling? I have a new idea for you to consider of what to do with that old cell phone no one would buy from you now or that ratty old blanket……the word is Freecycle…they are all over the world….Those old jars could be just what someone want to be able to make a batch of jam…..that phone to someone who wants an emergency phone but cannot afford a handset…that ratty blanket could be a nice addition to a dogs bed…

I urge you to google Freecycle in your area now…or go to http://www.freecycle.org/ and type in your town and country and voila there are heaps of them all over the world….It’s not all older stuff…it’s a real mixture of old and new…..there are a lot of unwanted gifts and brand new things! folk seem to have more than they need sometimes so how bout hopping on…I have received a digital camera and docking station, numerous toys for my niece….many things new and unopened….I have past on my old recliner and an old stroller gathering dust in the corner....The absolute best bit is you get to make lots of new great friends and de clutter at the same time! What one mans trash is another mans treasure! You’ll be surprised how many people do it in your area I bet! And all this is free! It helps mother earth keep unwanted items out of landfill and the surprise and happiness on people faces at making a new friend and getting something they want for nothing is priceless!

So google Freecycle now, what are you waiting for!?!
