ego is a projection from the mind. ego is living in duality and see's everything as black or white, real love accepts allows and embraces all. To run ,hide and defend is to be and see through the eyes and filter of the mind, the ego, the unconscious. ego is linear thought. ego is thinking you have power over another.(when all are made equal) ego is setup belief systems we can also call BS for convenience. ego is unable to change, it is static, inconsistent. defends as if there were something to defend and dictates the tehe egos way is the only way. ego can only offer the illusion of love. ego is in past and future. ego runs away from the truth for it cannot exist in present truth.
ego cannot " See" the truth because it has no clue what real is and so it forces to justify its stance and can be very subtle and appear as real love, however, the ego is unable to grow and change as in love, its contact grwoth and change. (thankfully)true death, is letting go of the ego so the space can be filled with joy of the true inner being. love is the answer, love is all there is.
