My Natal Chart Reading (Astrology)

Commander Julian's picture

From an Angel, thank you :)

Hello Sunshine – well here it is; the complete and unabridged version lol. There are a lot of aspects to this reading, some traits may have manifested in you already, some may still have yet to manifest in you; some may be shadowed by other, stronger characteristics. Just bear that in mind when reading.

Just want to say something: please don't think this is a 'set in stone' portrait of you, or that I know all your 'inner secrets' lol; some people tend to get a little edgy when I do their readings –I think they see it as a bit of a violation into their private lives. It's nothing like that at all – I can promise you; these are just traits you were born with – what you do with them is up to you sweetheart. Hope you enjoy it. Take care xxxxx

The reason I posted it is that it's extremely accurate.  For example, when it says patriotic think "he tried joining the military three times in the past," and when it says 9-5 job think "he dropped out of college and created his own company." So yeah, long story short, the one who gave me this reading is an amazing soul. Even the asteroids were very accurate lol. I was going to go down to each section and reply to it but I figured that for as open as I am with everything that would be too much too soon. And those negative traits in there... don't stop this little light from shinin'   :D

Namaste

Reading start:

Sun in Virgo
Originally referred to as your star sign, your Sun sign represents the sign of the Zodiac that the Sun was in at the time of your birth. The Sun rules willpower and ego. It is the core of your potential and uniqueness as an individual; who you are and what you are about. Your Sun sign represents the main direction and focus you want your life to take and your determination to accomplish what you set out to do. It represents your personal honesty and integrity, your ability to command respect and authority and your capacity to impress and influence others.

You're more complex than others give you credit for. As a Mercury sign, your head rules your heart, but this doesn't mean you're cold and unfeeling. On the contrary, your sensitivity is unmatched by any other sign except Pisces. It's often unseen, however, because you tend to be quite shy and reserved. This explains why Virgos are so generous; you want deeply to be loved, so you demonstrate this by going out of your way to be of service to others. You care for them, you do favours for them, you find just the right gift, and above all you give them your loyalty. Because of your shyness, you believe that once you've found someone special, you should do your best to keep them.

Mercury is a sign of intellect, so you're also quite smart. You're particularly adept at analysis and logic; many Virgos are scientists, doctors, and engineers for this reason. You also notice details more than any other sign, and this serves you well in a variety of careers.

You have a great work ethic; you're disciplined, highly organised, punctual, and tireless. You're also a perfectionist. When you tackle a project, you do it right, to the nth degree. You believe you have to be the best at it, so you study, you practice, you go the extra mile, you apply all your little advantages - smarts, hard work, and especially analysis - to get that edge. Once you've conquered it, you like to share it with people.

Because of your perfectionism, you're a critic. Too often, in fact, you're overly critical. Usually, you don't mean to be. You've figured something out, and you want to tell people. But they sometimes think you're condescending to them, or worse, placing unrealistic expectations on them. They grant you your expertise, but they often mistake your snaring for rubbing it in.

Even more troubling is your self-criticism. You often vent your harshest words on your own flaws. If you're not the best at something, you flog yourself into working harder until you either succeed or give up.

People can sometimes mistake shyness for aloof coldness. When you do converse, you're more comfortable talking business or intellectualising; not spilling your darkest secrets. Thus, you easily give the impression of preferring to be alone, so others keep their distance as a result. In fact, you want company, but you're rather picky. Make sure those you're interested in know you like them, and why. Watch your body language - don't stand with your arms folded over your chest, or avoid eye contact. You're a detail specialist, so use these little details to lead a happier life.

Moon in Aquarius
The Moon's position in your chart is almost as important as the Sun, but the influence is different. The moon is your emotional life. It relates to immediate emotional responses. It's those reactions instilled by conditioning; the memory and learned habit patterns. The influence of the Moon is more subtle, for it relates to personality beneath the surface; your feelings and your subconscious self. It shows how you react to those around you based on the sum of your conditioned viewpoint and unguarded self-projection. Often, the Moon's place in the chart shows a considerably different side of the nature, a side fostered by emotions, upbringing, and habit patterns that have developed over time.

An Aquarius Moon produces reactions which are progressive, but often erratic. Your friends may consider you unusual and unpredictable. Your imagination is fertile, and it produces a lot of creative energy.

You sometimes seem eccentric and unconventional in your responses to everyday problems. You're very broad-minded and imaginative, but you're also likely to be somewhat impractical and perhaps lacking in common sense, or so it may seem. Actually, you consider all that you do as being on a utilitarian level, even if many of your ideas are a bit idealistic and outside the mainstream. You have a universal quality that places you ahead of your time. An interesting conversationalist, you are a fascinating person, and a good friend.

It may be that you enjoy a good confrontation now and then and really don't want things to go too smoothly. A little on the high-stung side, you don't like things to get to routine and boring. The quickest way to end a relationship for you is to have the other person begin to take you for granted and cease to challenge you in a variety of ways. Stubborn, brusque and wilful, you have difficulties in your relationships due to the insensitive attitude you so often reflect towards your partner's feelings. Even during the best of times, you may demand the freedom to come and go as you please. Possessiveness makes you feel trapped. Casual companions and relationships are much more comfortable for you because they do not impose so many demands.

Your Aquarius Moon may make you seem to be too impersonal or detached for many with whom you come in contact. You are good at observing and analyzing others, but you may lack a true understanding of the needs and feelings that other people have. You are generally friendly to all, but in a rather impersonal way. This position overemphasizes friendliness and humanitarianism, but often misses the mark in one to one emotional relationships. You may appear cold because you have difficulty understanding the real emotions of another person.

Moon in Aquarius is apt to have given you a special concern for humankind. Often, the placement denotes someone who has very fixed and determined humanitarian instincts, and who participates in activities directed toward the poor or homeless. You relate well to humanity, if not always to individuals.
The physical home is not especially important to you, and you may change your residence often or have rather unconventional living arrangements. Some may describe your lifestyle as "bohemian," modern or offbeat.

Combination Reading
Because the Sun and Moon signs are different, a combined reading makes more sense. By blending the two signs, a more personal and unique reading emerges. It is the bringing together of the basic individuality and the instinctive.

Virgo/Aquarius
The combination of your Virgo Sun and Aquarius Moon produces one who, in part, is very earth bound and practical, while another part is somewhere above the horizon searching for truth, understanding, and knowledge. You strive to be aloof from the mundane elements of everyday life, as this is not a combination featuring much human emotion and passion. Periodic moods of emotionalism and romanticism notwithstanding, you're inclined to be cool and self-sufficient at heart. You can sometimes be insensitive in the way you handle people. You tell them what you think rather than what they want to hear, expecting them to be big enough to handle it; 'supreme objectivity', it might be called. You are a sympathetic person, but it's more because of your totally objective way of looking at things, rather than just a bleeding heart. You can use sympathy and understanding without letting your judgment get too clouded with emotion. In romance, the intellectual connection and perhaps romantic idealism, is more important to you than the emotional and physical side of love. You can become absorbed and occupied with an idea or a plan, a true mental explorer, dreaming, scheming and trying to satisfy an endless curiosity. You are a somewhat suspicious person, critical and judicial. Your mind may often be unconventional, but you are usually guided by a sound analytical and intuitive sense.

Ascendant in Aries
Your Ascendant is often considered the 'mask' you wear when meeting others. Perhaps it is easier thought of as the automatic responses to one's environment. The Ascendant shows our natural defences and how we cope with day-to-day issues. The energies of the Ascendant are the most obvious to others - how others perceive you. The Ascendant also shows an individual's first, natural reaction to new people and situations.

The first-house influence tends to enlarge the ego; it inclines you to be an "I-am" person, regardless of your individual Sun-Sign. If you're born one of the more passive signs, this outer dynamic influence might cause some conflict between what you desire within and how you go about accomplishing it without. To avoid too much frustration, you'll have to find a middle-ground. In your rush to get somewhere, you would do well to to pay attention all along the way so you will know how to get back there again should your first attempt prove unsuccessful.

Your characteristics may include a desire to open windows and doors if forced to be in enclosed surroundings. When angry, you are apt to slam doors, throw or break things, tread heavily on floors. Some might describe your look as a stare. Your basic character is straightforward, forceful and combative. You are single-minded, adventurous, and enterprising. You can be wilful, reckless, ruthless, even bluntly rude at times.

You have emotions and drives that are very strong; in fact, they are the dominant force in your makeup. You are passionate and can be very loyal while your affection and interest last. It can be stated that most weaknesses stem from a lack of self-control; they also include a large amount of vanity, selfishness, jealousy, and even lustfulness. By instinct, you're inclined to be very honest; however, in the grip of ambition you can be unscrupulous.

You have a strong constitution, but you may be subject to feverish ailments from which there usually is a speedy recovery. You may be more prone to accidents than illnesses. Exercise care to avoid injury to the head especially. Life will be filled with action from start to finish. The 27th, 36th, and 63rd years are especially important. The main characteristics for cultivation are these: enterprise, action, ambition, courage, industry, generosity, constructiveness, and leadership. Undesirable traits for correction are belligerence, headstrong tendencies, pushiness, and impatience.

3rd Decan Aries Rising
The more defined qualities of the Ascendant
THIRD DECAN of ARIES Rising (20.00 - 30.00 degrees)

The sub-influences of this Sagittarius/JUPITER decan can induce some interesting externalized characteristics and personality differences. Sagittarius - natural ruler of the ninth house of the higher mind; persons, matters, and things at or from a difference; long-distance travel; religion and philosophy - causes you to be interested in "mental matters."

While you have the strong Aries/Mars drive, you are more able to modify your approach so that you can adjust from a "hard push" to a "soft pedal" if the former seems not to be appropriate or working as well as it should. You are better able to cope with resistance than the other decans of Aries-rising natives. Personally, you tend to remain aloof from others and the environment generally. While this may cause others to complain that you are "distant" and difficult to get to know, being somewhat detached enables you to maintain better control of your temper because you simply don't let as many things upset you.

Jupiter aids your sense of humour and general optimism markedly. This makes you pleasant to be around. You're especially effective when helping others through their problems and negative situations. Off and on throughout your lifetime, it's probable you'll work at continuing your education--both formally and informally.

Mercury in Leo
Mercury's sign describes your thought processes and projection. It's closely associated with its natural home, the third house of learning and communication. Mercury relates to your general intellectual orientation, and the expression of your thoughts and ideas. In other words, it describes the way you think and communicate, and the way you get information.

You are a person of strong opinions and you express your views energetically and often dramatically. You are an entertaining speaker and will embellish or exaggerate in order to get your point across. You have an aptitude for story-telling and performing. Even if your arena is only the classroom or dining room table, you put on a good show. You have an abundance of creative ideas and do not enjoy a job in which you have no creative input or voice in decision-making. You could be a good politician, spokesperson, group leader, director, or coach.

Venus in Cancer
The planet Venus has an influence centred on the expression of self in personal relationships. It is especially associated with love, marriage, and the ability to attract others. Its placement in the chart shows how you express yourself in romantic relationships and marriage.

Venus in Cancer indicates a very sensitive, warm-hearted, protective, affectionate and deeply emotional romantic nature. For general well-being and emotional security you require a safe home and a loving family. In romance, your super-sensitive feelings are vulnerable to the least slight - you are very fragile in this area, thus easily hurt. Your lack of romantic self-confidence requires that your partner demonstrates constant affection and devotion. Your moodiness, sentimentality and tendency to sulk could present some problems, but on the whole, you are the ideal marriage partner in that you cherish your home and family, seeking a stable and affectionate domestic life.

You show your love by caring for your partner. You pay more attention to feelings than words, and observe people carefully. You want a safe, solid relationship. You can be a little moody in love, and some go so far as giving silent treatments and engaging in pouting routines to get attention from your mate. You are turned off by anything impersonal and too much rationalising leaves you cold. You are not afraid of the emotional element of love, but confrontations can be a little scary. Still, you are always worried you'll be left high and dry. If someone has hurt you, you'll have a hard time forgetting. Every so often, you'll retreat into yourself and it can be difficult to pull you out.

Mars in Leo
The sign in which Mars resides in the birth chart shows the expression of energies; physical, practical, mental and emotional. Mars is the way you project yourself.

This position of Mars gives a drive for significance. You may possess a strong need to create in some way - and you are quite determined that your life has not only meaning, but significant meaning!

This is a particularly vital position of Mars. Passions run high, and so does desire. There is a strong will that gives you much staying power, and though you will enjoy the pleasures of risk-taking, you generally have a strong sense of reason at the end of the day.

You probably have well-defined ambitions. Rarely will you find a person with Mars in this position who lives life without a true sense of a 'calling'. You act with authority and power, and your personal magnetism generally endows you with the ability to get what you want.

Impatient with small-mindedness and disloyalty, you have a strong idealistic streak. You easily get fired up when you feel you've been humiliated, and you will defend your high principles with ardour.

Jupiter in Aquarius
The nature of Jupiter in a horoscope relates to the expansion of horizons or growth in higher understanding. The sign placement of Jupiter helps define ones higher level of thinking. Since Jupiter stays in the same sign for about one year, many people born while Jupiter is in a given sign will have similar views on ideas and beliefs of that period. Often this placement gives clues as to your views of the weightier issues of life such as religion, philosophy and social issues of the day. Jupiter also rules optimism in living, prosperity, and growth, both mentally and physically.

Jupiter in Aquarius gives you the opportunity to develop an independent, self-willed, tolerant, humanitarian, broad-minded, optimistic, inventive, democratic and original nature. There is an innate desire to penetrate the deeper subjects of life such as social science, new technology, philosophy, religion, astrology, metaphysics and occult wisdom. These qualities are necessary in order to expand your personality and life experience. Social life is extremely important and you will tend to associate with friends that are seeking to pioneer some new, noble way of life for humanity. You come to understand that any form of social reform should be in line with humanitarian and moral principles.

Saturn in Scorpio
Saturn is associated with restrictions and obstacles. These frustrating or inhibiting aspects of life are expressed through the sign that Saturn occupies in your chart. Since the planet remains in each sign for two and a half years, these are traits you may share with most of your contemporaries.

In order to succeed in your social position in the world you will have to gain knowledge and expertise associated with the responsible handling of other peoples property and money, dealings such as in banking, investments, insurance, etc. A will to succeed must be developed together with a calm, efficient, determined and persistent effort for thoroughness. Emotional restraint and discipline are other important factors. Life experience will force you to learn valuable lessons related to the above issues.

Uranus in Sagittarius
Uranus transits the zodiac in 84 years, spending about seven years in each of the twelve signs. The characteristics of each of the outer planets are social rather than personal, and you are linked to those contemporaries born in the same Uranus time span. Its influences appears in the way that the group born during a period display their rebellious spirit, desire for freedom, and need to effect change as they grow older.

Those born in this generation have the ability to receive intuitively from the planetary mind new philosophical directions and new horizons for society's moral behavior. Disruption only occurs in hanging on to belief systems and moral attitudes that justify old social behaviors.

Neptune in Capricorn
Neptune transits the zodiac in 165 years. Since Neptune requires about fourteen years to pass through each sign, its sign placement plays an insignificant role in the personality makeup. Nonetheless, the sign in which Neptune resides may perhaps denote the depth of imagination, the intuitive faculties, and the mystical leanings of a whole generation of individuals.

This generation should represent quite a reaction against the previous one. These children may idealize work, thrift, practicality and duty rather than the abstract spiritual ideals of the preceding generation, though not necessarily. However, they may not be very effective in dealing with practical principles, which may decline considerably, simply because this generation does not deal with them in its daily lives.

Pluto in Scorpio
Pluto orbits the zodiac in 248 years. The time spent in each sign can vary a great deal because of the planets erratic orbit. Since its stay in the various signs is lengthy and variable, Pluto influences are noticeable only by the mark on a large generation of people. The key word describing Pluto is revolution, and its movement to new sign will mean significant societal changes.

This generation will have an increased interest in discovering the common thread in their fellow human beings and nurturing it for the better rather than, like their ancestors, using it as a noose; a challenge to be more responsible toward the welfare of each other without losing respect for themselves. A mixture of directness and compassion is the subtle key. It is an alchemical process, whereby we find the right proportion of allegiance and maverickness, producing wisdom.

INTERPLANETARY ASPECTS
The interplanetary aspects have a strong influence on the character and disposition of the individual and, consequently, on his destiny. There are many traits - positive and negative - which may or may not manifest themselves in the individual. Bear that in mind when reading.

Sun trine Neptune
A trine formed between the Sun and Neptune shows that you have precocious qualities. It allows you quickly to absorb ideas and concepts with deep comprehension. You have fine talents in expression, and you take up new projects with enthusiasm. Yet you are likely to become easily bored. This may have been a problem that caused you to have a difficult time in school when the subject matter was something that you already knew. You have strong psychic abilities, and much of your strength is in your intuitive grasp of matters. You are permissive with others, and with yourself. You may not be a hard pusher for one of your shortcomings may be that you dawdle a bit. You function well when allowed to operate at your pace and without others relying on you too much.

At the same time, you can get others to work with and for you, so that all of you can achieve your goals.

Moon opposition Venus
The opposition between the Moon and Venus shows a degree of conflict in relationships no matter how hard you try to please. And you do try hard to please. You may be generous in your praise of others, but somehow your sincerity is called into question. You may become emotionally over-sensitive, and make special efforts to avoid disapproval despite your need for acceptance. When you expect too much from those you are close to, you are often disappointed. As a substitute for emotional satisfaction, you are somewhat self-indulgent. You display a weakness for comforts and luxuries. Your money conditions can cause problems if not carefully controlled.

Moon conjunct Jupiter
The conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter shows a deep sensitivity to your environment, which you truly want to understand as fully as possible. The aspect confers sympathy and generosity. Often individuals having this combination find jobs working with the underprivileged, in rehabilitation programs, or a similar type of occupation. Your honest concern for others brings you the trust and cooperation of most of those with whom you come in contact. You are a giving person and you find success because of this. Beware of over-extending your physical energies.

You may forget the past, and break any ties that confine. You are a loner at heart, but an ardent nature can prompt relationships that don't impose to many limits. Always being so sure you are right, you sometimes make premature judgments and decisions. With this placement you need to concentrate on slowing down your racing mental reactions and get all the facts before responding.

Your talk is not always backed up with action and follow though. You have a constant need to produce thoroughness and attention to detail. In matters of education you may be somewhat conceited. Yet in your education, you may have pursued esoteric, literary, scholarly, or philosophic studies, which lack practical value for earning a living. Avoid alienating people with a "know-it-all" attitude. Your insatiable appetite for learning can serve you well once you have learned to focus your attention in one area, and develop a specific field.

Mercury trine Uranus
The trine formed between Mercury and Uranus confers a special type of mental ability associated with the intuitive faculties. Flashes of intuitive insight are amazingly accurate. Uranus puts your mind more in touch with humanitarian matters, and also modern and progressive ideas. You can express your thoughts in an original and dramatic way, and thus, you make an interesting speaker or writer. You rarely make superficial statements because your mind does not dwell on trite matters.

Mercury trine Ascendant
Mercury trine the Ascendant shows that you know how to express yourself. You are rarely misunderstood because you dramatize what you say and get the full attention of your listeners. You know that you are creative, perhaps because your parents encouraged you to develop your creative potentials and even provided opportunities if they saw that you would use them. In any case, you do understand your enormous capabilities, and only have to decide that you will capitalize on them. You know what you can accomplish as well as what your limits are. You speak optimistically about your goals in life. With your enthusiasm, your chances for succeeding are good, but if there are setbacks or reversals, you will simply start anew, because you don't accept defeat. You learn from every experience, and find new ways to use your talents. Determined to succeed, you will always find people who will support you in your endeavors.

You know how to de-emphasize your negative qualities and overplay the positive ones. You seek the approval of your friends and generally get it, because of your views on matters of current interest. You let others think you are primarily concerned for their welfare and best interests; with your superiors, you use this tactic with masterful skill. Although you recognize the importance of getting an education, you depend more on effective communication to help you get what you want.

Venus trine Saturn
The trine between Venus and Saturn shows that you have good judgment about people, and you know who to turn to when you need help. Because of this understanding, you refrain from projecting yourself toward others unless you are sure of being welcomed. In a romantic sense you are very cautious. You evaluate the object of your affections in a reserved manner, assessing the adjustments you must make in the relationship. You are so self-sufficient that your emotions are always controlled (in some individuals this aspect creates the appearance of being cold). Good, sound business judgment is shown by this placement.

Venus square Pluto
A square forms between Venus and Pluto suggesting that your emotional life is subject to many problems. Passions may be hard to control and properly direct, and romantic ties are in some way fated. It may be any benefit you receive is always accompanied with some negative side effect. What you want and seek is often not what you need, and obtaining the objective or object creates ill effects. Life is full of upheavals and upsets in domestic and professional affairs. There is a need to be more honest and less patronizing with people. Don't make promises unless you intend to keep them. This aspect must be controlled by the free will.

Mars square Saturn
The square between Mars and Saturn sets up a defensiveness in your nature, producing some difficulties in personal relationships. Fear of rejection, perhaps based on early life experiences, prompts a sense of caution in romance. You may have a tendency toward melancholy and self-pity. This aspect is an impediment to happiness and the expression of optimism. In the expression of energies, there is an alternating current between assertiveness and apathy. You may be slow to reach long range goals despite much hard work and continued effort.

Mars trine Uranus
The trine formed between Mars and Uranus shows originality and enthusiasm in your actions. You are very energetic and freedom loving. You are an impatient person who always has several irons in the fire. Your impulsive and restless nature needs to concentrate more on moderation. In fact, you may demand freedom to exploit your potentials, and you actually feel sorry for those that are trapped in limiting circumstances. This is not a good aspect for someone with a boring 9-5 job. You do need to focus on learning moderation, and especially in romantic affairs, you need to be less restless and impulsive. The limiting ties of marriage and convention may not be your cup of tea.

Mars trine Ascendant
Mars trine the Ascendant shows that you assert yourself positively and aggressively. You have much enthusiasm, which you transmit to others in such a way that they are aroused to support you in your actions. Although you may not always be right in what you do, you are certainly willing to take that chance. You enjoy taking chances anyway; and luck seems to hold out when you do. You have a mind of your own, and are determined to express yourself when you feel the urge. You have the gift of the gab, and know how to gain the advantage in conversation. Being competitive, you enjoy both mental and physical challenges. Sports give you the opportunity to let off steam, either as a participant or as a spectator. You delight in winning, but, whether you win or lose, you take tremendous pleasure in the game.

You need a considerable amount of money to support your pleasures, and you can dream up the wildest schemes to get it. Because you are inclined to spend much more than you earn, you must learn to be more moderate. You find it very embarrassing to be without money, but you should avoid money lenders, if you can.

You don't pay enough attention to planning for the future. Your motto could be 'Live today, for tomorrow you may die'. But with this attitude your security is always in doubt. In your job, you give an impression of great activity, so that your superiors think you are making an enormous contribution. When it comes down to reality, however, you may fail to prove your worth. You need greater self-discipline so you can harness your creative enthusiasm to specific tasks. You would like to be independent, but because of your inclination to spend, it may be difficult to accumulate enough money to function freely. Your personal affairs tend to get in the way of your professional endeavors, and you could end up relying for assistance on the generosity of others.

Your success depends on your willingness to work at developing your talents. Hard work will bring you the results you want, as well as satisfaction for not having to depend on others.

ASTEROIDS

Chiron in Gemini
Chiron in our natal charts points to where we have healing powers as the result of our own deep spiritual wounds. We may overcompensate in these areas of life. Chiron, as a wounded healer, first must face issues of low self-worth and feelings of inadequacy and learn to rise above these issues. Because the wound goes deep, and we may work hard to overcome the wound, healing powers are potent.

If Chiron falls in Gemini in your chart, you bear a pain of doubting your mental capacities. This placement makes for a person who exhaustively seeks knowledge or becomes resentful of those who seem naturally gifted with words and ideas. At the heart of Gemini is a need to be heard and understood. Gemini loves to talk and have people listening intently, but with Chiron in Gemini, you feel as though your ideas fall on deaf ears or, if they are heard, are victim to ridicule. Rather than feeling ignorant for what you feel you don't know, Chiron in Gemini encourages you to make the most of what you already know within your heart. By cherishing your natural talents and instincts, you are able to open yourself (and your wound) up to the world and share what you've learned from your pain. Give your time to causes dealing with learning disorders or literacy, or any situations in which people fear that their intellectual resources are lacking.
