A letter I wrote,

This is a letter I wrote to the White House in E-mail form.

"Dearest White house, most honorable President, Vice president and other staff,

I just want to say "thank you" to all of you there. It was a little
wierd, I suppose comming from where I do to say that, but I mean it.
I mean to thank you with all my heart.

I know, as you do that there's so many people that are very riled up.
I was one of them.. Then, as I always do, I remembered the words Jesus
said so long ago... he said to forgive thine enemies. He said that
the divinity was not to hate those who hate you, but to turn the tide
to love. That it may be a mystery why salt is compared to light, but
at least Jesus knew that both things here exist. That, while light
and salt may be nothing alike, they yet exist, and compliment the
other.

It is for this reason I want to say "Thanks" and you're doing a great
job. I want to thank Donald Rumsfeld, because he is so strong.
Strong enough to tell men and women that they should not even pry into
your efforts. I know it sounds stupid, but I really do want to thank
you for torturing people. That is what I love the most. I know it
sounds strange.

I want to thank you for awakening me to the true nature of
forgiveness. That you have let me forgive you for some things which I
could never have imagined possible.

That is the greatest gift which anyone has given me. So, I thank all
of you, and I want to let you know that though many will not forgive
you, that I do. And, sometimes, in the eyes of God, a minority of One
is just.

I just want you to know that no matter what you guys do, it will be
forgiven. Even here on earth. Even if it's just me. I want you to
know you have done right. You have done well.
