Free energy

Are there currently any blogs related to free energy (cfr. the knowledge of Nikola Tesla)?
Since (in my humble opinion) we really need to get free from oil dependence (this is one of the major causes of earth ecology problems i think), why is there so few discussion on new energy sources, or research into this subject? For anyone interested, check out www.steorn.com (however it is of course being ridiculed by anyone with academic or oil interests).
