The Law of Correspondence
The Law Of CorrespondenceThis article is a brief introduction to a powerful universal law that should be firmly understood by everyone wishing to create the life of their dreams. Simply put, this law states Your outer world will be a direct reflection of your inner world Or, as within, so without. As you may deduce, the ramifications of this principle are awesome and to accept it is to take on a profoundly deep sense of responsibility for your life. No longer can you point the finger, no longer can you say ‘woe is me’, no more, “..but I was a victim”. You are the sole creator of your life. My Experience Of The Law If you have a rotten attitude to life, you will have a rotten experience of life - doesn’t that make perfect sense? With the benefit of hindsight I can clearly see the workings of this law in my own life. In my late teens I used to drink 2-3 nights a week, often times more. I The Consequences So what is your inner world? I’m talking about your thoughts, feelings and attitudes. If, say, you feel inferior or unworthy, your outer life experience will reflect this: On the other hand, if you feel like a confident person, comfortable in your own skin: Your inner world acts like a magnet, drawing to it all the circumstances that correspond to it. You then perceive this as proof that your deeply held beliefs and attitudes are accurate and that everyone else is to blame - this is backwards.
Thought is what moulds your inner world; thought is the only real causative force. You are NOT what you eat, your body is. You are what you think. I once heard Wayne Dyer say, “There is no depression, just people thinking depressing thoughts”. I completely agree. You must understand that you can only be subject to what you hold in mind, if you aren’t thinking it, you’re not subject to it. I’m not advising you to ignore your challenges, far from it. However, you are always free to focus on the solution instead of the problem, or to re-frame an event, i.e. put it in a different context, e.g. understanding that each of life’s challenges is an opportunity to grow or that every supposed failure brings with it the seed of an equivalent or higher success. To see what provided the initial spark for change see my ‘about me’ page. On that page you can see my recent successes in life and there are more coming (I will share these with you as they arise). Do you want to put this powerful law into practice? My next post will detail exactly how you can and see immediate results! subscribe or enter your email address to the right for updates.

drank to excess, why? I didn’t like myself. I didn’t know this was the reason at the time but I know for sure now that it was. I didn’t like myself mentally, physically or emotionally and I didn’t like where my life was heading either. People like this will project these feelings outside of themselves and become cynical, hateful, egotistic, suspicious, defensive (me against the world attitude) and actually believe that the problem lies out there. It most certainly does not. How do you think people will react to someone who is cynical, hateful, egotistic, suspicious and defensive? I’d be willing to bet that 9 out of 10 people will avoid them at all cost, the other person is probably just like them in their assessment of life (this is how people attract to themselves others of a like mind). I was unemployed, had incredibly low standards for my life, had no intimate friendships, self-sabotaged relationships, and only felt happy when I was drunk - pathetic. Now, can you see how my attitude returned to me exactly what I was asking for? Can you see how my outer world corresponded exactly to my inner world? I got back what I put out, this is the Law!
