Just some old poetry I was inspired to look through... Most of them I wrote 10 years ago or more...

Here are some of the poems I wrote probably when I was 14 yrs old...

Strength

In us lies a strength
It's ability is ongoing
It's power has no length
Electrifying our souls is a display
of love that keeps on growing
Through pain grief and sorrow
In good times and in bad
In the end our hearts we shall follow
Every celebration and every hardship
is a test of love and we realize
we are all connected by a lifelong friendship
The beating of our hearts
The racing of our minds
We can never, ever drift apart

Here is another from age 14 or so....

Dream

Once upon a dream one life
Lost in the tears and
confronting the strife
It seemed as if everything was wrong
Glancing at the table, it was revealed
that life's puzzle was put together all along
Opening your heart to all that surrounds you
Closes your mind to trivial ordeals
Seemingly many, but in reality are few
The path carried out
from the vision within
creates the courage to see
truly what life is about

Night

Night is a universal quilt
It's darkness covers the Earth
and secures all of the days
thoughts and feelings
The world is comforted by it's
starry display and the warmth of the
atmosphere surrounds our hearts

Ah yes, I remember when I wrote this one...

Bodies in motion
we brush shoulders on the street
A sense of love... possibly a notion
when will you and I finally meet
paths are crossed
un-known hearts lost
I don't know him, but he is you
One day there will be
Just like in my dreams
someone just for me:)
