Quartz

   Ouachita National Forest Geologic Column. A belt or zone of Quartz
crystal bearing veins extends 30 to 40 miles wide for 170 miles from Little
Rock, Arkansas to Broken Bow in eastern Oklahoma. Major production of Quartz
crystal occurs within the heart of this belt in a zone about 70 to 90 miles
through the eastern and southern portions of the Ouachita National Forest
and adjacent lands. The Ouachita's (French spelling of the indian name
"washita" meaning "good hunting grounds") rank among the oldest mountain
ranges in the United States, formed by the collision of two land masses.
They are surrounded by the Ozark Dome, the Arkoma Basin and the Mississippi
Embayment. These quartz veins are thought to have been formed by the
injection of heated waters into the numerous open fissures, faults, cracks
and joints of the formations during the latter stages of the late Paleozoic
mountain building process.
   Today, we typically don't think too much about it, but Quartz crystal is
indispensable to our high technology society. Quartz crystals formed of
silicon and oxygen are hexagonal (six-sided) structures that have the unique
property of piezoelectricity... which means that they create electricity
when stimulated electronically or by pressure. This power can be measured.
Because of its piezoelectricity, Quartz crystal can receive energy, process
it, and then transmit the oscillations outward in precise vibration
patterns. These vibration patterns can be manipulated to augment, store,
amplify, transfer, transform and focus other rates of vibration... i.e.
information.
   The appearance of crystalline snowflakes explains why scientists consider
water a mineral, and why early humans may have called Quartz crystals
'frozen water' or ice.

   The six-sided or hexagram star is revered as a religious symbol by the
Hebrews who call it the Seal of Solomon, and the Hindus who call it the Mark
of Vishnu, a god-man who was half-man, half-fish.
   The first major influence of crystal came with the radio, in which the
Quartz crystal frequency transmitted vibrations of the human voice across
invisible space. This was the first step toward the Aquarian ideal of
changing this planet into one world, one race, one people.

   After WWII, came the widespread use of the computer. Scientists
discovered Quartz crystal can be programmed. Today, Quartz crystal is
indispensable to the international electronics industry for use in
everything from radios and watches to the Silicon Valley micro-computer
chips used in everything from automobiles, to satellites to lasers and other
electrical components which permeate our society. The bottom line is Quartz
crystal is everywhere: In just fifty short years our technological
civilization has become Quartz crystal based.

ARE WE THE NEW ATLANTIS?

   When one mentions Quartz crystals many people automatically think of the
lost civilization of Atlantis. This is mostly due to science fiction writers
and the prophet Edgar Cayce. In his remarkably cohesive clairvoyant
readings, Cayce describes Atlantis as an advanced civilization whose
technology was based on Quartz crystal. Cayce also said it was the abuse of
this technology that brought about the cataclysm of Atlantis.
That's just one of the fascinating connections concerning crystal. Another
appears when it is realized that most metaphysical researchers, following
the lead of Ignatius Donnelly's groundbreaking work Atlantis: The
Antediluvian World, believe that Atlantis was the true Garden of Eden of the
human race. All creation myths and the original Earthly religion and science
are remnants of the Atlantean original, according to proponents of this
remarkable theory. Significant to us is the notion that if Atlantis was the
home of the original divine couple, this would link it in myth with Mt Ida,
the original Garden of Eden and source of wisdom. Indeed, the Mayans called
their source of wisdom Tula,13 which is the sacred name for Aztlan, Atlan or
Atlantis.
   With what we now know about the power of Quartz crystal's information
storage capability in our own world, let us now reconsider the Tibetan terma
legend of the original divine couple who preserved secrets in rocks in a
hidden paradise. Are these myths the Tibetan version of the Altantis story,
and dim recollections of an advanced ancient Quartz crystal based
civilization? Did the ancestors of the Tibetans lose their advanced
technology in a sudden cataclysm? Were there survivors who preserved samples
of their technology and teachings who settled in Asia and elsewhere as is
widely proposed? Did they create a Hall of Records in a massive Quartz
crystal deposit knowing they would one day return to reclaim this
repository?
This may not be as far-fetched as it sounds.

RECORDER CRYSTALS

   Visible on some Quartz crystal surfaces or terminations are subtle,
slightly raised pyramids. Some are easily seen. Sometimes they appear when
we experiment with catching the light reflecting off the surfaces. It is
easy to feel them by rubbing your thumb across the surface.

   What these pyramids signify to Quartz crystal investigators is truly
remarkable. First, they are the interface between the vibrations or
information stored within the crystal and the outside world. Second, they
act as templates through which incoming energy is subtly imprinted.14 In
this way, they act like the digital information stored on a CD rom or the
interference patterns that store information in a hologram.
   Crystal enthusiasts maintain that the information or vibrations stored
within these special crystals, called recorder crystals, can be transferred
directly to human consciousness. While holding the crystal for periods of
time (especially over the area of the third eye), or rubbing the thumb
across its etched surface, coded energy patterns can be assimilated.
Is it possible that Mt. Ida recorder crystals are pieces of an ancient
information storage technology? This possibility is reinforced by a
provocative Sumerian story. According to Zeeharia Sitchin,15 the Sumerians
knew of an original divine couple. One half of this couple was the Sumerian
gardener and scientist, Enki, who possessed the "Divine ME" tablets of
civilization. The ME (pronounced "may") encoded the basic knowledge of the
healing arts and of all civilization. MEs are described as objects that the
gods wore on their body.
   Interestingly, ME is the root for medicine. In its original form,
'Me-dicine' referred to all that was sacred, magical or holy. 16 This
knowledge remained in control of the gods and was released to humanity on a
gradual basis. Is there a connection between Me-dicine and Quartz crystal?
Indeed there is.

THE HEALING POWER OF QUARTZ CRYSTAL

   Many people believe that Quartz crystal can interact with and modify the
thoughts and emotions of humans. In particular, crystals are thought to
activate more of the power of the inner being, and to amplify natural
healing and mental abilities.
   Ancient chemists would grind Quartz crystal to powder and mix it with
water to cure many ailments. The Druids, the "men of the oak trees," who
came from Hyperboria where a mecca for learning called Tula was located,
made offerings of Quartz crystals at sacred wells. It was believed the
crystals gave the wells healing powers. The Apache Indians thought Quartz
crystals were "good medicine." Is Quartz crystal a universally known healing
agent? Or, how do we explain it allure through the centuries?

THE PLANETARY GRID AND THE QUICKENING

   One way to explain the ancient belief in the healing power of Quartz
crystal is by its relation to the Planetary Grid or Energy Network of the
Earth. The Indians called this web, or Grid, the domain of the creator
goddess "Spider Woman".!? In his discourse Phaeado, Plato - who
Produced the story of Atlantis to the modern mind - makes the astonishing
observation that Earth itself looks from above, if you could see it, like
those twelve-patched leather balls," Did Plato have some means of travelling
into Earth's orbit to make such an astonishing observation? Or, did someone
who had seen the Earth from this vantage point give him the information?

   A twelve-patched leather ball describes a dodecahedron. The dodecahedron
with twelve five-sided faces was used as a teaching tool to instruct the
initiate to know him or herself as an energy system like the Earth.
   Plato was not alone. In the second century AD, a group of Christian
gnostics (Greek for "knowledge") described the sphere of Earth being
surrounded by a 12-angled pyramid. These 12 angles are described as "eyes",
"pipes," and even more fascinating to our story, as "holes" in the Earth.
   Today, most researchers into sacred Earth energies concur the Planetary
Grid has 12 primary vortex zones or "holes" with the Great Pyramid at the
apex control. The Grid is marked by a network of temple sites throughout the
Earth which includes:

. the Great Pyramid of Giza and Heliopolis ("the City of the Sun")
. the massive 1,000 foot high pyramids in the jungles of southern China, 90
degrees opposite of Giza.
. Easter Island, 180 degrees opposite the Great Pyramid.
. the City of the Sun at prehistoric Cuzco, Peru.
. Teotihuacan in Mexico.
. the vortices of the Four Corners area of the USA.
. the Mississippi valley of the southeastern USA.
. Oak Island, Nova Scotia.
. Rennes-le-Chateau, France.
   The activation of this Planetary Grid is called the 'quickening' of the
Earth, an increase in the vibratory levels of man and Earth which is thought
to spark higher intelligence and increased linkage between minds.

HUMAN-CRYSTAL-GRID CONNECTION

   Metaphysically speaking, the use of Quartz crystal for healing is based
on the belief that human beings are spiritual beings from a higher, finer
realm. We are temporarily inhabiting the human body, which is composed of
crystalline structures (bones, teeth, cells, etc.), which itself is a part
of, and connected to, the Planetary Grid.
   Most of us simply tune this Planetary Grid out, or have it tuned out of
us by our culture. This may be a dangerous state of affairs since the
Planetary Grid is our link to expanded consciousness.
   If we think of our consciousness as a radio, most of us keep ourselves
'tuned' to one or another frequency (typically the one at the middle of the
dial). Mystics encourage us to make increasing the number of'stations' we
receive signals from one of our goals. There's lots of ways to increase our
spiritual bandwidth. In addition to Quartz crystal, sex magic, drugs, music,
meditation, study, inspiration, perspiration have all been used to
perfection by spiritual masters of the past. A good Mend who has achieved
this enlightened state reminds me that, no matter which route we choose, it
will involve work, work, work!!! There are no shortcuts, she says.
(Hopefully, this is changing however.)

THE LIGHT BODY

   Another key piece of knowledge we learn once we increase our spiritual
bandwidth is that, in addition to a physical body, we each have an
indestructible light body. Many Eastern philosophies, and modern physicists
who follow the theory of hyperspace,19 maintain that our body and mind exist
on the material level, but also on an invisible level of which we are
largely unaware, but which may be accessed through our light body.
   Within this light body there circulates a primal nonphysical energy or
vibration that underlies all the vibrations on the 'middle of the
consciousness dial'. This primal energy is called by many names: the Holy
Light, the living light, the Force, bioenergy, vril power, solar fire, the
Living Fire, serpent force, kundalini, etc.
   The study of the Force and the Planetary Grid was considered an integral
part of a person's education because, like Nikola Tesla's work, it unifies
all the sciences of the Key of Life, including physics, astronomy,
chemistry, biology, genetics, meteorology, geology, anthropology,
mathematics and geometry. In addition to inventing radio, Tesla sought to
tap the power of the Planetary Grid in order to fulfill his dream of
providing free energy for the entire world. The tower depicted here was part
of his early attempt to make this dream a reality.
   This Force, or Holy Light, is everywhere and in every one. In fact,
Eastern teachers tell us that |t is found in high concentration in the
chakras or energy centers of the human body. In its static Igate it is
called the "great coiled power."
   The chakra or energy centers of the human body. The energy flow within
also follows the 'corkscrew effect'.

   This corkscrew effect is fascinating since the structure of Quartz
invokes corkscrewing (helix, like DNA) chains of silicon tetrahedrons. In
addition to the Planetary Grid and the human energy system, other structures
which have a 'resonant' affinity with Quartz through this 'corkscrew effect'
are:

. the spiral form energy/spiral flow
. the spiralling movement of water
. the spiral of evolution

   Once activated, by whatever means, this energy expands our consciousness
and raises our spiritual awareness. In the ancient world this Force and Holy
Light was thought to be able to prolong life and enhance vitality. This
explains why this energy was symbolized in ancient Egypt by the entwined
serpents of the caduceus. Today this symbol is used as the symbol for the
American Medical Association.

   Incredibly, the two serpents in a double helix around a central rod are
known in yogic terms as Ida - related to the Moon -- and Pingala - related
to the Sun.20
   Interestingly, Ida was also the name of the wife of Buddha (whose name
means' wisdom')!
   One way to interpret these mystical definitions of'Ida' is that, within
the double helix of our DNA and the human energy field, we each have access
to a hidden store of knowledge or wisdom and the Force or Holy Light.

WALKING IN THE LIGHT

   "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added
unto you." Matthew 6:33
"Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God."
   As noted earlier, one of the features of the Tula/Ida complex was a
Pillar that was capable of 'drilling holes" in space. As the ancient
spiritual practices maintain we have an Ida within, then is it possible we
also have a Pillar within too? Indeed, viewed metaphysically, our spinal
cord system is our internal Pillar of Light connecting us with Source of our
creation. This Pillar, with Ida at the top, is believed by mystics to be our
transmitting and receiving station for 'interdimensional communication'.
Once we activate this Pillar of Light, we are from that moment forward
"walking in the Light".
   Virtually all mystic traditions agree that the higher knowledge of the
Pillar of Light cannot be acquired from organized religion or cults. It is
transmitted directly to the seeker through the activation of the heart
chakra. Quartz crystal, we are told, helps us to open this chakra. (In my
article entitled "Raise the Roof, I present research concerning a prayer
posture which also helps to activate the Pillar of Light within.)

THOTH, THE BIRD MAN

   In the western M-Istical tradition, the concept of the 12-angled
Planetary Grid was first introduced by the Egyptian scribe of the gods
Thoth. He is also credited in Egyptian lore with the invention of magic and
writing. In Egyptian and Greek myth, Thoth was one of the original
Peacemakers and wielders of the Ida-topped caduceus. He used the caduceus,
or Key of Life as it is also known, to translate souls between dimensions,
and to raise the dead. He even brought his father, Osiris, back to life.

   Thoth is depicted as a bird-man. He uses the caduceus and Key of Life to
bring Osiris back to life. Osiris, the Egyptians said, was a savior figure
who built golden temples to the gods. In Egyptian mythology Thoth, like
Adam, was the first to establish a common language, he invented letters, and
named the objects of Earth.
   Thoth has many more important and fascinating connections to our story.
According to the Egyptian Book of the Dead, he came to Egypt from a land to
the west that was across an ocean. Its capitol was by the sea. This land was
referred to as the "Island of Flame which is in the sea, and was the home of
the gods. A terrible cataclysm occurred which darkened the sun and disrupted
the gods, but Thoth led his people to the safety of an eastern country. He
rallied the newly formed Egyptian civilization around the construction of
the Great Pyramid.
   Edgar Cayce claimed Thoth's homeland was Atlantis, and that Thoth was a
transplanted Atlantean priest-scientist. Another researcher who has looked
at the glaring connections between Thoth's story and that of Atlantis is
Zecharia Sitchin. He claims Atlas, the priest king of Atlantis, and Thoth,
the wise teacher and Peacemaker of the Egyptians, were one and the same
being. Not only that, but Thoth/Atlas was also the same as Quetzalcoatl, the
Mayan god of Peace and King of Tula.

EGYPT: THE LAND OF KHEM

   Thoth is famous as the originator of the law "as above, so below". This
law is reflected in Robert Bauval's discovery that the three Pyramids of
Giza line up with the three belt stars of the Orion constellation.
   Incredibly, the boldest Atlantis research today suggests that Atlantis
was not on Earth, rather the original Atlantis story took place in the
stars! As a matter of fact, the word "Atlantis' came from the Greek name the
Atlantides, the Greek name for the Pleiades, a group of seven stars in the
constellation Taurus the Bull. The Atlantean civilization on Earth was named
for an Atlantis in the stars which was destroyed in a celestial
confrontation with another planet (for details please see my book One Foot
In Atlantis). As there was an Atlantis above, in the stars, so too was there
an Atlantis below on Earth.
   Another example of this "as above, so below" principle is equally
intriguing. If a star map is superimposed over the Earth with the pole star
placed over the terrestrial North Pole, we have a celestial clock making one
revolution daily. The noon point of that map (like Greenwich) is the Great
Pyramid of Giza. As Isaiah said, "There shall be a Pillar at the borders of
the land of Egypt."
   Egyptian cosmology was dualistic. There was an "upper Egypt" in the
heavens and a "lower Egypt" on Earth. The Pillar marked the spot where the
two worlds united. Could it be that the 'eastern country' Thoth came from
was an Atlantean civilization in the stars? Was he among the god beings who
came to Earth to construct a Pillar at a "docking station" or Tula in order
to create a link between Heaven and Earth? A mysterious hieroglyph
discovered by Peter Tompkins shows a pillar a top a mound.
   Thousands of years ago, Egypt was known as the Land of Khem. This is the
root for our words alchemy and chemistry, hinting that Egypt was a land of
transmutation. Incredibly, the Atlantides or Pleiades were known as the
Khema!
   Incredibly, if a star map is placed with the Khema over the Land of Khem
(Egypt) -- specifically, directly over the apex of the Great Pyramid - then
the constellation Taurus falls over the Taurus Mountains of southern Turkey.
That's not the only Earthly correspondence to what legends say is in the
heavens:

. Ursa Major, the Great Bear, falls over Russia (which is always associated
with the bear);
. the head of Draco the Dragon coils up over China;
. Orion (the warrior) is over Iran and Iraq;
. Aries the Ram is over Rome;
. Aquila the Eagle spans the United States.

   These analogies between the constellations and the natures of the
countries which lie below them are incredible.

KNOWLEDGE IN THE SKY

   In Egyptian legend, Thoth had a beloved wife named Seshat. She was also a
great teacher who apparently excelled her husband in ability, for she is
said to have checked his work. With knowledge of the impending cataclysm of
their homeland, legend says this divine couple travelled the Earth
scattering artifacts and important books of knowledge. One of these
repositories was the Hall of Records in Egypt. The Freemasons claim that
Thoth sealed the Hall of Records and left a prophecy that, one day, a man of
Thoth, and presumably his wife, would return to Earth to reclaim their
knowledge and lead humanity into a new Golden Age of learning.
   Freemasons also say that Thoth possessed all secret knowledge on 36,535
scrolls that were hidden under the heavenly vault (the sky). Did Thoth
literally 'project' this knowledge into the sky similar to the way we
'project' knowledge into the air via the Internet, for example? Is this
thoughtsphere a feature of the Planetary Grid, like some sort of ancient
cosmic Internet with basic cosmic knowledge available to all who learn to
download data from it? This thought-sphere or idea-sphere could only be
found by the pure in heart who would use it for the benefit of all humanity.

THE PEOPLE OF SABA

   I cannot say for certain what is meant by the statement that Thoth hid
knowledge in the sky. However, Thoth and Seshat's story does sound
astonishingly similar to that of the divine couple of Tibetan myth who
'projected' knowledge into rocks. Their names were Padman Sambhava or Padman
Saba-ava, and his consort Yeshe Tsogyle, who was also a spiritual adept.
   The 'Saba' prefix to Saba-ava's name is a very important link to other
parts of our story. Saba is one of the most important words in the Bible (it
is the root of Sabbath). The people of Saba appear in numerous mythological
traditions, always as bringers of great wisdom.
   For example, along with Mt. Ida on the top of Mount Meru or Tula of the
Hindus was the Mount of Saba, or of the congregation or heavenly host.
Meru/Tula was known as the Garden of Eden the Hindus, and is the piace where
the original Egyptian gods assembled. In the book of Ezekiel Eden is
mentioned along side 'Harran and Canneh, and 'Assyria and Chilmad' as 'the
traffickers of Saba'. Incredibly, Harran was known as the "land of holes".
This is an interesting name given its similarity to the hare who dug holes
in space (stargates?) in the story Alice In Wonderland.
   The Garden of Eden story is not our only biblical link with the Saba
people. Interestingly, Ida was also known as Mount Id-Avratta. This mountain
became Ida-Ararat, or simply Ida or Ararat. This is fascinating since Ararat
is where 'Noah's Ark' came to rest Meru is the Ararat of the Hindus. The
identification of Ida with Ararat will become greatly magnified when we
investigate Mt. Ida, Ark-an-sas momentarily.
   Here, it is also exhilarating to note that the Egyptian Edfu Texts tell
us that the outer corridor of the Egyptian Hall of Records was known as the
arrit-hall. Obviously, arrit and arrarat are not that far apart. Does this
suggest Mt. Ida is an external entranceway or gateway to a larger Hall?
More fantastically, could Noah's long lost Ararat be Ida, and could Mt. Ida,
Arkansas be the original Hall of Records? Was knowledge of their connection
forgotten as this story was passed along through the ages? If so, this would
 not be the first or last time this lapse in human memory occurred.
According to Godfrey Higgins, the Jews and the Greeks forgot the original
mount Meru, and gave that name to the favorite mountain of their own
country: Moriah in Jerusalem. Higgins claims Mount Moriah - the original
site of Solomon's Temple and the anticipated site of the third Temple of
Solomon and the Second Coming - is named after the original Mount Meru,
which he believed to be in India.
   The problem with locating Ida or Meru in India or Greece, let alone
Jerusalem, is this: There is no Quartz crystal at Mt. Meru or Mt. Ida in
India or Jerusalem. Quartz crystal is found only at Mt. Ida in Hot Springs,
Arkansas!!!!

THE MERU-AMERICA CONNECTION

   The lack of Quartz crystal at Mt Ida anywhere but in Arkansas may help
explain why researchers have had difficulty saying exactly where the
original Meru was located. Meru's Buddhist name, 'Sumeru', obviously rings
ofShumer, Sumer or Sumeria, the home of the An-un-naki, the Sumerian name
for a group of god beings who are astonishingly similar to the Saba. A great
scholarly debate exists as to whether or not the original home of these gods
was in Sumeria in present day Iraq, Sumeru in Asia, in Egypt or even another
place altogether.

   In Asia the cosmic pillar Mount Sumeru was depicted as the link between
man and God.
   In Egypt, the gods constructed a Pillar at Meroe, a name which is
phonetically close to Meru, and which connected Heaven and Earth.
In fact, as the accompanying map taken from New Light From The Great Pyramid
by Albert Ross Parsons in 1893 clearly shows, Meru was believed by some
initiates to have been in America! On the map, Mr. Parsons even demonstrates
his belief that the word A-meri-ca was derived from Meru, Meroe, Moriah,
Amerak, and Amerique.

THE ATLANTIS-AMERICA CONNECTION

   If America was the original landing place of the gods this would be quite
interesting. Here's why. In addition to America, Atlantis was also
associated with the name Meru.
   The Hindu religion states that Mount Meru was originally located in
Mongolia. This is fascinating since the myths of the Maya, Toltecs and
Aztecs tell of bearded, blond white men who came from a kingdom in Mongolia
called Tollan located near Lake Baikal and the river Tula. These Mongolians
said they had come from Atlantis and sailed around the world founding new
Tulas, naming them after their homeland.
   Throughout the ancient and the modern world myths have circulated about
the goings on at Meru. These myths center around the belief in the existence
of a "hidden directorate" of god-beings who dwell in this remote region of
Asia. The Mayan, Egyptian and Mongolian traditions tell of a group of beings
who travel the cosmos carrying teachings for aligning worlds with the
Central Spiritual Sun,34 where the ancients believe our souls originated. In
Greek and Mayan myth the Central Sun is also called Tula.
   'Peace' is created when the Tulas on Earth and the Tula in Heaven are
aligned. These god-beings do not define 'peace' as the absence of petty
conflict between warring tribes or families. "Peace" is the unity of Heaven
and Earth.
   Mayan prophecy states Peace will be created in December, 2012.
Coincidentally, in Revelation 20:12, John tells us: "And I saw an angel come
down from heaven, having the key (out) of the bottomless pit" The
'bottomless pit' is Earth.
   We can learn a lot about what may be to come in 2012 by studying the
ancient events surrounding these people of Saba and their creation of Cities
of Peace in the ancient world.
   This idea that an ancient myth may be about to re-enact itself in our
sophisticated modern world may sound absurd to some. However, to the ancient
Egyptians who modeled this process before us, this was serious business. The
idea of establishing 'Peace1 was necessary for the perpetuaion of humanity.
Failure to recreate the correct myth and ritual, and to establish the link
between Heaven and Earth, was suicidal since it resulted in Chaos.

SOLOMON AND THE QUEEN OF SHEBA

   One of the Bible's greatest figures who had an encounter with the people
of Saba was Solomon, the son of David. King Solomon is a semi-mythical king
who was a sort of Bill Gates of his age: immensely wealthy, on the cutting
edge of the high technology of his day, and a bit on the nerdy side, at
least when compared to his hell-raising father David.
Solomon is famous for building the Temple of Solomon, a golden House of God
on Earth, in Jerusalem. The name Solomon tells us quite a bit about this
Temple. It contains three ancient names of the Sun:

. the Roman Sol,
. the Hindu Om, or Aum, and
. the Egyptian On.

   Solomon also contains the word tnon, the ancient name for the moon.
King Solomon's Temple, like the miniature shrine of King Tutankhamun, was a
glory of gold.
   Solomon's Temple is famous for its two pillars, Jachin and Boaz. However,
underneath the floor of the Holy of Holies of Solomon's Temple was another
extraordinary artifact, the Stone of Destiny. This Stone was considered the
Hebrew link with God.
   No one can say for certain what, exactly, this Stone is. However, the
Stone connection is fascinating since the Temple itself was thought to have
been a recreation of the Garden of Eden, the Garden of Creation. In Egyptian
creation myth, which may have been the prototype myth for the Hebrew story
of the Garden of Creation, we find the symbol of the Ta-wer - the sign which
represented the primordial hill or mound which rose from the waters of
creation.

    The ta-wer was the symbol of the religion of the Egyptian god Osiris who
was famous for coming to Earth from Sirius to teach gardening to humanity.
He was one of the gods who first settled at Meru, and is often equated with
the Sumerian god Enki. His religion was based in Abydos, Egypt and was
centered around his Pillar of Meroe or Meru. As we can see the Pillar of
Meru and the ta-wer symbol appear to be identical. Once again, I remind the
reader that Mt. Moriah, the site of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem, is named
after Mt. Meru.
Other important story elements appear in the story of Solomon.

SOLOMON: THE PEACEMAKER

   I was most interested to learn that the name Solomon also means "the
peaceful one." Many believe this title was added after his death to reflect
this period in Israelite history. This is corroborated by the fact that
Solomon was also known as Jedidiah, "beloved of the Lord."
   I began to wonder, what if it were possible Solomon was not just an easy
going person who reigned during a conflict-free era? Instead, what if, like
the Egyptian Thoth (who was the son of Osiris), he were the Peacemaker of
his time?
   In my book The Peacemaker and the Key of Life, I document how these
Peacemakers erect various Tulas (temples) as resonators and conductors of
spiritual (Tula, vril) energy. As I looked at the story of the building of
the Temple of Solomon in c. 1,000 B.C, an extraordinary question emerged.
Was Solomon another in the line of Peacemakers who created Peace by
constructing a docking station linking Heaven and Earth?
   I found support for this in Godfrey IHiggjns' Anacafypsis. In this 1,100
page master work first published in 1833, Higgins went in search of the
original pre-Flood religion and language system. He maintains the title
Solomon was derived from Salamein, the name of a long line of avatars who
appeared in numerous cultures including Iran and India. The Iranians, he
says, have a title, Soliman, equivalent to the Greek term for universal
cosmocrator  - 'The World Pillar'.
   In India Higgins found stories of the fourteen Soleimans, or wise men
(which he equates with the 14 incarnations of Buddha), and the 72 rulers
called Suleimans who ruled Persia before the flood. Some have speculated
these wise men may be the same as the 72 angels who were present when Jacob
constructed his Pillar and ascended his ladder to Heaven in the book of
Genesis.
   Incredibly, these Solomon's were also intimately connected with the
People of Saba.

THE QUEEN OF SABA

   Solomon's career did not really get going until his encounter with the
Queen of Saba. His ability to solve riddles and answer difficult questions
was supposedly what attracted the exotic Queen of Saba (or Sheba, "seven")
to his court. The Bible's Song of Songs, written for her by Solomon, is one
of the most erotic love poems of all time.
   The Song of Songs portrays the Queen of Saba as the most beautiful woman
on Earth. It is widely assumed that she came from Arabia. However, Higgins
claims she came from Mount Meru and its Mt. Ida.
This is fascinating since the Song of Songs is also addressed to Sophia
(Greek for "wisdom"). This fits with my speculation that the People of Saba
who lived at Ida are the wisdom keepers who maintain a hidden cache of
knowledge (be it in the sky or in the ground).
   The Queen of Saba is someone I'd certainly like to get to know. Who
knows, if the Bible is right, this may be possible. In Matthew 7:42, Jesus
says she will return at Judgement Day, Armageddon, to bring judgement (or
'balance'). This is noteworthy since the Tula means balance in Sanskrit!
   As in ancient times, there is no way to miss her when she arrives. In
Solomon's time the Queen of Saba arrived in Jerusalem "with a very great
retinue, with camels bearing spices, and very much gold, mdprecious stones'1
(I Kings 10:2). She was said to have controlled the lucrative spice trade in
the Sinai peninsula area. As a spice trader himself, Solomon may have
represented an economic threat.
   Before she left, the two monarchs had a torrid romance, and they
concluded a mutually beneficial trade agreement. In Kebra Nagast, an
Ethiopian text dated to the thirteenth century A.D. (but possibly older), we
not only find extrabiblkal evidence that the glorious empire of Solomon
existed, but we also learn Solomon gave the Queen of Saba "a vessel wherein
one could traverse the air, which Solomon had made by the wisdom God had
given unto him!"
   In another version of this story, Sura (Chapter) 27 of the Koran tells
how the Queen of Saba's father taught Solomon the Language of the Birds.
This was the original pre-Flood language spoken by Adam and Eve in the
Garden of Eden. It may even be the original language taught by the Egyptian
god Thoth, the bird-man, who was the inventor of language and writing.
   This is another key to our mystery. Simply, if we wish to learn the
secrets of the Peacemaking bird-man Thoth or his later apparent counterpart,
Solomon, we must learn the Language of the Birds.

THE LANGUAGE OF THE BIRDS

   In the Koran we read, 'And Solomon was David's heir. And he said, O
mankind! Lo! we have been taught the Language of the Birds and have been
given abundance of all things...' (27:16).
   This language, sometimes called "the Green Language," is the holistic
language of nature. Understanding it leads to the balancing, blending or
integration of the individual with all of creation. It gave Solomon control
over all the elements resulting in the 'abundance of all things', and the
ability to fly in the sky like a bird... or an angel.
   The Language of the Birds makes extensive use of correspondences and
coincidences linking apparently separate things. For example, why is it
called the Language of the Birds? Its likely because the Latin ava (apple)
is phonetically the same as ave and avi (bird/angel). Therefore, the
Language of the Birds is the Language of the Angels. It's the official
language of the Department of Eternal Affairs. (The 'ava' connection gives
new meaning to the name Sab-ava, whom the Tibetans said projected sacred
knowledge into rocks.)
   It is believed that all humanity once shared this common language. It was
the great unifier. Similar to the way the English word and becomes et in
French and und in German, yet may be expressed world wide by the sign & -
all language (and religion) was once universally understood. This Language
was lost when Adam and Eve were expelled from Eden -- or so we have been
taught to believe. Men and women of great wisdom have sought, and
discovered, this language.

THE FIRST KEY: IT'S ALL IN ENGLISH

   The big brains who created our alphabets and root words of langauges had
powerful knowledge of the effect of a constantly repeated word on the human
mind. They had faith that when a thinking person is confronted with
repetitive or synchronistic phenomena they will immediately begin to
investigate. For this reason names and place names, especially those of
temple locations, were chosen very carefully.
   One of the most important things one learns about the Language of the
Birds is that words containing similar sounds have similar meaning in
English. Take the word Christ-en and Christ-na (or Krishna), for example.
Both words sound the same and both mean salvation. I realize this sounds
ridiculous to some. However, this is a crucial leap to make to understand
the esoteric secrets of mythology. In fact, the Koran calls this leap the
Bridge of Sirah. As the great French Egyptologist Schwaller de Lubicz says,
this bridge 'is as wide as a razor's edge; on either side is a yawning gulf
of perdition...
   'One precipice is the mentality of logical or mathematical reason, the
other of superstition'.
   On one precipice is our ordinary world where things are as they seem. On
the other side of this leap is a magical world where things are not at all
what they seem, and where the modern language of English is the key to
unlocking the secrets in the ancient world.
How did English come to be the Language of the Birds? The answer is, the
language in which these words have meaning to the mythologist is not exactly
English either. In the poetic Language of the Birds (or Bards) English
becomes Ang(l)ish or Angel-ish, the Language of the Angels.
There primary reason why we can derive Angel-ish from English is explained
by symbolist Harold Bayley. Like Godfrey Higgins, he sought the original
symbol system of the ancients. In Secret Language of Symbolism, Bayley says
'modern language is a mosaic in which lie embedded the chips and fossils of
predecessors.'
   Words are vibrations. Uncovering these chips and fossils and tuning into
their vibrations, de Lubicz reminds us, 'demands a constant state of
"consciousness of the laws of genesis." This state of consciousness, he
says, will put us in sympathetic vibration or relationship with everything
that shares an object's name or vibration. Hence, a word or name means the
same thing wherever, or whenever, it appears. Why? Because that's the way it
is 'on the other side' of the Bridge of Sirah.
   Let's (playfully) apply the methodology of the Language of the Birds to
one of Dr. J.J. Hurtak's locations for the future docking stations, Tulas or
recreations of Solomon's Temple ~ Nashville, Tennessee.

NASHVILLE DAVIDSON

   InTime magazine's 1998 Almanac Nashville, Tennessee is listed with its
legal and official name - Nashville Davidson (from Davidson county). When we
trace the origins of these words some amazing correspondences to our story
develop.
   Let's begin with the prefix *nash'. First of all, the Hebrew word for
serpent is nahash. The Hebrew word for soul is nashamah. In the Language of
the Birds, these two words are phonetically similar, therefore, they are
interchangeable. So, the word Nashville can mean both "Serpent City" and
"Soul City."
   The interchangeablity between the words nahash (serpent) and nashamah
(soul) leads to a fascinating view of the Pillar we looked at a moment ago.
A serpent, or soul, appears to be emanating from, or going into, the Pillar.
This should not surprise us since the ancients claimed the Pillar was used
to translate souls between dimensions
Phonetically, "Soul City" is "Sol City". As sol means sun, the word
Nashville could also mean "Sun City". Sun City, in turn, is phonetically
"Son City."
   Who is the Son? The answer is provided in the name Nashville Davidson.
Who is Davidson or David's Son? The answer is Solomon, the Peacemaker and
builder of the First Temple in Jerusalem, is the son of David. When the
Third Temple of Solomon is built in the New Jerusalem this will signal the
arrival of the Christ or Messiah. As Dr. J.J. Hurtak has pointed out, this
Temple or "docking station" may be built in the Nashville Davidson area.
   Solomon was the son of Bathsheba (or Bath Saba, whose name we have
already looked at) and King David, whose name appears more than 1,000 times
in the Old and New Testaments, more than any other. David, however, is not a
Jewish name. According to Elizabeth Van Buren, who is another expert in the
Language of the Birds, the true meaning of David, whom Jonathan the
Benjaminite loved "as his own soul" (I Samuel 18 1-3) was God's messenger.
Often, God's messenger is symbolized by the dove, as in the dove of peace
and the dove of the Holy Spirit of Jesus.
David or Dovydd, with the "D's" at either end of the name, says Ms. Van
Buren, "represents a Dol or door, that is, a tower or column reaching to
Heaven". The Celtic and Latin word for Dove is colomen, colombe, columba.
This word appears in the name Christopher Colombus, which means 'Christ
bearing dove'. In Welsh Duw Dovydd is the dew of the alchemists and God's
messenger. Christ, we all know, is of the Royal House of David, the Dove...
or the Pillar. Christ is also the Peacemaker, who as the bright Morning
Star, is also the bringer of the dawn and its dew.
   "At an individual level," observes Ms. Van Buren, "David is that immortal
part of each one of us, the soul which is the messenger between Heaven and
Earth." As I Samuel 18:1 says:
"the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved
him as his own soul".
   By this incredible rendering, was David's son, Solomon, a soul which came
from the Pillar? With this question, our story takes another extraordinary
turn.

THE CASKET OF CHRIST AND THE SEVEN STARS UNDER THE SIGN OF THE THREE STARS

   In my book One Foot In Atlantis, I tell of F.D.R.'s search for the
reincarnated Jesus (or Osiris) in Mongolia in 1934. This search was inspired
by Henry A. Wallace, F.D.R.'s Secretary of Agriculture. Though unknown to
most Americans, F.D.R. and Wallace envisioned themselves as knights of the H
oly Grail who were on the ultimate quest. While researching Wallace's part
in this search, I discovered a smoking gun (or "blue Gap dress") letter from
Wallace to the leader of the search team in Mongolia. The profound
signficance of this letter is not denied by
Wallace's biographers, although its occult signifcance has evaded detection.
In the letter Wallace says:
   "I have been thinking of you holding the casket -- the sacred most
precious casket And I have thought of the New Country going forth to meet
the seven stars under the sign of the three stars".
   In a follow-up article to my book I presented evidence that, in occult
terms, this "casket" was also known as:

. the Casket or Coffin of Osiris,
. the Djed Pillar,
. the Pillar of Osiris,
. the True Cross,
. the Tower of Babel
. the Tree of Life, and
. the Tree of Peace.

   If we are following the myth behind this letter correctly, this "casket"
contains the soul of a Savior figure.
   As evidenced by this letter, F.D.R, and Wallace were awaiting its arrival
in America, for "the New Country" mentioned in the letter is none other than
America, the New Atlantis. What, however, or better yet, where, are 'the
seven stars under the sign of the three stars'?

   F.D.R. speaks underneath the flag of the State of Tennessee.
Curiously, the flag of the State of Tennessee features three stars. Is this
the mysterious sign of the three stars Wallace was referring to? If so, this
would be phenomenal. To begin, the word Tennessee is the word Essene Net
spelled backwards. Tennessee also easily renders the word Ten Essenes. This
is fascinating since many biblical scholars maintain that Jesus was an
Essene. Christian myth presents Jesus as a net-wielding fisher of souls.
   Coincidentally, Josephus, the historian of the Jews in the first century,
observed that the Essenes believed that good souls have their inhabitation
beyond the ocean, in an idyllic land in the west. The Mandaeans, the
followers of John the Baptist who were also connected with the Essenes,
believe that the inhabitants of this land were so pure that mortal eyes will
not see them and that this place is marked by a star, the name of which is
'Merica.
   A Garden of Eden-type world across the ocean marked by a star called
Merica? Is this A-merica? (And what connection, if any, may this have to the
Chaldean myth of a Garden of Eden called Omoroka?)
   Possible corroboration comes from Dr. John Allegro, a Dead Sea Scroll
scholar who has deciphered the meaning of the word Qumran, the name of the
area by the Dead Sea where the Essenes lived. He claims Qumran means the
"secret of the Pillar." Does this reaffirm the Meru-America connection?
Further, does this connect the Essenes with the People of Saba?
   Further, should we look for the reappearance of this Pillar in Tennessee?
If so, where? One startling possible answer to this question appears when we
examine one possible identification of the mysterious seven stars in
Wallace's letter.

THE SEVEN STARS

   We've already noted the significance of the Seven Stars of the Khem or
Pleiades. They were the seven stars for which Egypt, the land of Khem,
appear to have been named. It would be easy to see them as the key to
understanding the 'seven stars'. However, in the ancient world another
equally powerful group of Seven Stars was the constellation Ursa Major, the
Great Bear.
   Astonishingly, in Arab tradition, Ursa Major was called Na'ash or Nash,
the Great Coffin! The dual definition emerges from the phonetic and
vibrational similarity of the words bear and bier or coffin.
   Further, in Arab myth the stars were the children of Na'ash who mourned
for him who had been murdered by Al Jadi, the present pole star. The name Al
Jadi and itspole star appears to be similar to the Djedpillar of Osiris, and
also rings of Solomon's name, Jed-i-diah.
The Arab association of Nash with a Pillar or coffin is stunning when it is
realized Nash-ville, Tennessee is a giant Indian graveyard, a great
coffin!!!
   In Indians and Artifacts In the Southeast, Bert W. Bierer writes, "A
considerable portion of the city of Nash-ville has been built over an
extensive Indian graveyard." He further says, "The ancient buriel grounds on
the banks of the Cumberland River, in 1844, extended more than a mile along
the river."
   In 1890 Gen. Gates P. Thruston, a Civil War general of the Army of the
Cumberland, discovered an Indian cemetery on the O.F. Noel farm several
miles from the heart of Nashville. He remarked, "It is within the bounds of
truth to state that, after a century of occupation by the Whites, the burial
grounds of the aboriginal inhabitants, within a radius of thirty miles from
this center, contained a greater number of graves then the aggregate of the
present cemeteries of the Whites within the same limits."
   Today, the site of these graves is a part of Nashville which is called
Berry Hill. This area is thought to have been named after the Berry's, a
prominent Nashville family. In ancient times, however, it would have been
called Bury Hill because it was a massive cemetery. We may extend this word
play here and call itBear(y} Hill. The phonetic correspondence between these
place names, once again, points to the power of synchronicity at work in
this story.
   Who were the people buried in this ancient cemetery? Gen.Thruston
considered the Nashville area to be the great metropolis of the Stone Grave
people. Assisted by skilled collectors on his payroll, by 1890 Thruston had
ransacked and completely obliterated some 3,000 to 4,000 stone graves. Many
of these graves contained multiple skeletons.
Just down 8th Avenue from Berry Hill is the old Nashville water reservoir.
It is built on a massive tiered facility.

   Further down 8th Avenue toward downtown one finds the State Capitol
building. It too is constructed a top a tiered mound.
The Tennessee state capitol sits atop a stepped mound.

AL GORE

   Another curious (if not humorous) name associated with the Pillar, as far
as our search is concerned, is AlcorAS In Greek myth, Jadi (or the Djed
Pillar) had a daughter named Mizar who held the infant Alcor, Alcor
obviously rings of AI Gore Jr., who is from Carthage, Tennessee, which is
about forty five minutes from Nashville.
   One powerful anagram or word play that pops out of the name Al Gore is
GRAOEL. Graoel is phonetically Grail. The Grail is the stone of God. Al Gore
Jr. is known as a stone-faced politician.
   Al is the Islamic name for God, as mAl-lah, Al-ot, Tola or Tula. Kore is
the goddess of Tula for whom the Kore-An is named.

Additional fascinating place names dot the map of Tennessee, including:

. Tullahoma or Tula Home. Forty five minutes south east of Nashville is
Tullahoma, home to the Air Force's Arnold Engineering Center. Located nearby
is Old Stone Fort State Park. Recently, says local archaeologist Michael
White, archaeologists have discovered this is not a fort at all. This is an
ancient Indian astronomical observatory strikingly similar to Stonehenge in
England.
. Sumner County is a thirty minute drive north from Nashville. The name
Sumner obviously rings of Sumer. In the plate pictured here which was found
in Sumner County, a man in ceremonial regalia holds a head or a mask by the
hair. Note his forked eye.

   The forked eye symbol appears in numerous ceremonial contexts in the
Southeastern United States.
   There are many glaring similarities between the symbols found in Sumner
County, Tennessee and the symbols of the An-un-naki who came from the stars,
but lived in Sumer, in present day
Iraq.

   Zecharia Sitchin claims this symbol, with its eye-like opening,
represented the flying vehicles of the ancient god-beings called
An-un-naki.
   Significantly, both Tula and the planet An or Nibiru, which many believe
is the home planet of the An-un-naki was symbolized in ceremonial art by the
enclosed Sun Cross. This Sumerian tablet from 870 B.C. is believed by
Atlantis researcher Ignatius Donnelly to represent evidence of the survival
of Atlantean sun worship.
   The enclosed Sun Cross also appears frequently on ceremonial art
throughout Tennessee and the southeastern United States.
   On this plate found in Tennessee, the enclosed Sun Cross appears inside a
square framework of four continuous parallel lines, symmetrically looped at
corners with the inner lines touching the tips of pyramidal rays. Outside
are four symbolic birds.
   The Sumerian god Enki in his watery temple. Notice the similarity in the
looped corners to the plate above. Enki's home world was symbolized by the
enclosed Sun Cross.

   Sun-worshipping native Americans, supposedly inheritors of Atlantean
religion in America, dance around a sacred pillar. Engraving from Theodore

   Included in Southeastern ceremonial symbolism is the bird man. Does this
hint at Sumerian influence in America?
   Several additional sites in Tennessee are worth noting.

. Shiloh is located about two hours southwest of Nashville. It is famous as
a Civil War battle field. It is also home to a massive pyramid where the
chiefs of several tribes lived. In the Bible Shiloh was where the Ark of the
Covenant was located.
. Castalian Springs is the location where archaeologists claim that the art
of carving stone statuary in North America originated. Archaeologists have
recovered samples of these statues. They depict an Adam and Eve couple in
loving embrace. Another statue, now in a museum at the University of
Tennessee, depicts a man who appears to be wearing a space helmet.

. Oak Ridge, Tennessee is home to Oak Ridge National Laboratories, a major
US Government atomic research facility. In numerous ancient myths the oak
tree was prominent as a marker of places where man and God would converge.
The Druids, the Old Testament, patriarch Abraham, and Nicola Tesla all had
significant stories connected with oak trees. The common thread in each
story is the transmutation of energy

THE ARKANSAS CONNECTION

   As the millennium turns, Tennessee and Arkansas share a remarkable
connection. The two most powerful men in the world, the president and vice
president of the United States, are from these two states. Bill Clinton was
born in Hope, Arkansas, but grew up in from Hot Springs, Arkansas. Al Gore
is from Carthage, Tennessee.
   The word Arkansas has its own treasure trove of sacred meanings,
beginning with the fact that the Great Bear or Great Coffin, Ursa Major, is
also known as Arctums. From Arcturus is derived Arsur or Osiris (Greek for"
Asur") and Arthur, the Chief of the Bear People who guarded the Holy Grail.
Interestingly, the Great Bier, Pillar or Coffin, was also called King
David's Chariot and Arthur's Chariot, which the Grail King rode around a
pole.
   In Greek legend, Arktos the Great Bear was the mother of Arkas, the Bear
Race. When allowing for the word play between bear and bier, the Bear Race
becomes the Coffin Race or race of People of the Pillar. This aligns them
with the People of Saba who constructed this Pillar.
   Further evidence linking the Bear People with the Saba conies from the
names of the Archangels who were symbolized mystically and alchemically by
the Lion (Michael); the Bull (Uriel); the Dragon (Raphael); the Eagle
(Gabriel); and the Bear (Thot-Sabaoth or Thoth-Saba).
   The Greeks also called the Bear or Pillar People the Ark-adians. Arkadia
was the name of the Greek paradise. I have speculated elsewhere that the
Pillar was plugged into the Ark of the Covenant. Is this the true source of
the word Arkansas and Arkadia?
   According to the Greeks, the Pillar People worshipped a god called
Akanna, the Lord of Heaven.
   Ak-Anna obviously rings of the An-un-naki of Zecharia Sitchin's Su-Merian
research, who also worshipped a supreme deity called An. Combining the words
Arkas and Akanna we are obviously phonetically close to Arkansas.
   If these people of Arkas or Arkadians are the same as the People of Saba
who lived at Mt. Ida and constructed the original Pillar on Earth, this
forces a question.
   Did the people of Arkas originate in Arkansas? Was Nashville, Tennessee
their great necropolis, the City of Resurrection?
Will these beings return here to reclaim their historic lands?

MT. IDA

   Once again, we return to Mt. Ida. As noted earlier, in tantric myth Ida
is associated with the Moon. Correspondingly, Mt. Ida, Arkansas is in
Montgomery County, Arkansas. Mon is the root for Ma-On or... the Moon.
Another obvious message embedded in the name Montgomery is 'Mount Go Meru'.
There are other important resonant links with the word Montgomery.
   For example, in Montgomery, Alabama we find Maxwell Air Force Base.
That's Max-Well Air Force Base. Remember, one of the uses of the Pillar is
to drill holes or wells in space. Isn't curious that an Air Force facility
with this significant name should appear exactly where we need it? We've
already seen this Air Force coincidence appear in Tullahoma, Tennessee.
   What do all these curious linkages mean? Will Ida be part of a future
"docking station" linking earth and Heaven? Is a secret Hall of Records
located there? Or, as I believe, is their purpose simply to lead us to more
interesting questions?

THE FOUR CORNERS AREA

   The discovery of the mythological significance of Mt. Ida and Nashville,
Tennessee is only half the story. The remarkable events and place names of
the Four Corners area must also be explored. Space allows me to merely hint
at what those connections may be. For example, what are we to make of:
