Get a taste of Eternity!
Our very own Milky Way Galaxy is approximately 100 000 light years in diameter. So, at the speed of light (670 616 629 miles per hour), it would take 100 000 years to travel from one end to the other. That comes to approximately 580 000 000 000 000 000 miles wide. And that is just one galaxy.
There is approximately 100 000 000 000 stars just in our Milky Way Galaxy. They also estimate that number to be the “average” amount of stars in a galaxy, as some are bigger than the Milky Way and some smaller. And recent astronomical data also states that there is approximately 125 000 000 000 galaxies in our observable universe.
That means that there is approximately 12 500 000 000 000 000 000 000 stars in our observable universe. And… the closest star to Earth is Alpha Centauri, 4.36 light years away, more than 25 trillion miles away.
And just with our average-size star, our Sun, there exists 9 observable planets, with all of their moons, and just on our tiny magnificent blue planet, 7 billion marvellous souls live. So one star, 7 000 000 000 beings, and that’s just on one planet out of a minimum of 9, excluding moons!
There are roughly 7 billion human beings living on Earth today. Each human being walking this Earth could very easily be the sole representative of… 17 galaxies, so approximately 1 700 000 000 000 stars. Even if there is only one single being for every star, it still represents quite a few souls… So, what will a soul family reunion look like??? Try imagining trillions of family members and friends celebrating your return! And they all know you and love you to the core.
And so, when I think about future possibilities, and how many planets, stars and beings I will be able to encounter eventually, well, I can taste a little eternity of adventure! And on top of that, funny thing is, I am able to imagine it!! So it’s real, it’s possible. And just with one single soul, one love, I am able to feel Paradise.
And I know there is tons of stuff I cannot imagine too! And I haven’t even mentioned black holes and Galaxy Centers that are really doorways, portals, to other universes…! So eh… think and feel for a moment about how much fun is coming our way!
Namaste,
