appreciate - a song I had written.

hi all, last night I was going down memory lane, I found a song I had written when I was about 17 years old. I did not know what lightworkers were then and I need to mention I did not write this feeling depressed. It was a time of my life when I felt no-one understood how I felt. (I only came across what a lightworker is/exist June/July last year). Anyway, thought I'd share with you all. In love & light.

why do we hurt?
why do we live?
I want to leave so badly
don't wanna be here
rather a spirit in the sky
oneness with the universe
spiritually in love and peaceful
in vast expanses..

but this world needs help
maybe I can help
touch a life - here and there
add a little hope, a bit of light
but would you appreciate?

love your world
love your place
be forever at peace
peace - within yourself

a follower? Or a leader?
your own person? Or someone elses?
man! - I wish I could leave…
but I am needed.
