Good idea or not? Working with Autism Project?

Hi all. Question for anyone who has lots of info on the subject...
I am in need of a part time job for the time being while business at my new mind-body-spirit center is picking up. I am looking into working with an Autism project for in-home care. I have read a bit about their theories, etc. One of their most recent ideas is that environmental toxicities and all the chemical crap in our food and environment might have something to do with it. Ok, so I'm happy that they're at least looking at that fact. But I believe that a significant number of the kids diagnosed with autism are really children of the new world (crystal, indigo, rainbow). I believe that they probably don't feel the need to communicate/learn as society always has and are most likely telepathic. I am looking for advice from anyone that may have had experience with these autism societies and projects who could tell me if it would be a conflict of interest, or perhaps a good thing, for me to get involved with it based on my feelings. I looked on the autism society of america's webpage with great disgust on the fact that they said that autism is becoming a growing problem and a huge burden on our society's economics. Sigh...If they would only bark up the right tree...... could I help? or would I be getting involved in what I don't believe in?

Any thoughts?

Thanks and blessings to all.
