Celestial Sea and Sky Make Love

The sea reflects
the sky in soft
ripples and waves
white caps feign
the puffy clouds
they imitate
sea and sky eternal
mates

Dark skies leave
carribean waters
of paraiba blue
gray too
sky opens up it's
downpour
into the seas
and waves grow large
on the shore

Sunset melts
skies into awestruck colours
orange, violet and red hues
reflect on the sea's
surface of blue
dissolves to reflect back
the sky's beauty
as if to say
"sky, this beauty is you"

Sea and sky
reflecting in
each other's celestial eye
paired through time
their love a gift
for all to see
stand on the shore
and watch them meet
in the distance they seem to kiss
and join together
as One
