and leave you there to sort, sift
through and release those
monsters of the deep
which are yourself

the benevolent journey

with all that ever was
and all that will ever be

a new understanding
dispels the unknowing
and it grows ever wider, ever larger
until the dam bursts forth
releasing stifling storms
of conviction
