Another note on the higher self(ves)

On the subject of "higher selves," it is important to emphasize that, just as the person you've identified as is but an expression of your divine soul, your soul itself is an expression of All That Is -also known as God. Therefore, from the place of broadest and truest perspective, you are part of God, you are God (since all separation into "parts" within God is only an illusion), there is nothing outside of you and there is nothing for you to fear. You cannot be made separate from God because there is nothing outside of God. You can only become temporarily blind to your connection. Nothing, however, can do this TO you. You manifest everything in your experience and everything you see in your world is a reflection of a quality in you. In truth it all IS you. If you become, to some degree, blinded to your connection, you have chosen this blindness and chosen the vessel through which it would occur. This choice is made to learn and grow and it will inevitably pass, as you chose the blindness and you will eventually outgrow your interest and need of it and choose enlightenment instead.
