Hi Fellow Light~Workers
Hi Everyone x
My name is Carolanne ~ a newbie at 'Light workers' (as of today) on the high recommendation of a friend. A current incarnate who feels that mostly she tends to fly on ‘half a wing’ (while also being assisted by the scruff of a tailfeather), to keep 'the nose up … and the tail-flaps down and steer staight! :-/ who also goes by the user name of: 'GentleSpirit'.
So I came in today, just to be nosey really I guess initially, and also hoping to find a text chatrooms available by which to connect with other like~minds in general live conversation ... (Not that I'm subscribing to being dead 'in the usual human term of course', you realise ... *except perhaps from the neck up on occasion*) :-P Yet at I have to admit also that there was a little disappointment in finding none. Cos initially it was like ... :( *sulk* hehe
But WOW, since browsing around the ‘Light Workers’ site for a while however, I am now finding so much inspiring 'food for thought' here from so many loving and supportive Souls that I honestly believe I may possibly even be at risk of ... 'taking permanent root' in these particular gardens, now :-) x
So who is she then; this Carolanne / Gentle~Spirit, Person??
Hmm … So how to introduce myself?? (Not always the easiest thing to do, is it??)
Well for as long as I can remember I have always been referred to as a 'LightWorker'. To begin with however I baulked at this title ... considering it only to have ego-based conations, until one day I stumbled across a definition of this word as being: ‘one who has come with the deliberate intent of increasing the Love and Lightness in; on and around this Planet. ‘Okay!’ I thought. ‘I can probably live with thaat definition’. :-D
Soo ... Born and raised in London UK., and now resident in New Zealand. I am a mother of three … 'Rat-bags' (whoa! who said thaat?? *looks around* ... I mean of course...) 'Earth~Angels' 0:-) hehe A qualified natural therapist of 12 years hands on experience; a Reiki Practitioner; teacher; medium; author in the publishing (we live in hope! lol) and citizen of the Planet! (… Although as you can see, I’m still working on the last bit!!) :-/
The last twenty years for me have involved an intensive exploration and training into all aspects of the Mind, (and it’s, as yet ‘untapped’, and in most cases ‘little understood’ ability to create for us, in our lives … unconditionally)! During which time I have experienced much non-physical contact and Higher Guidance!
I consider myself to be more Empathic, rather than psychic. Although I’ve also come to realise now that both aspects are many faceted and interchanging within the human psyche, and therefore adaptable accordingly, as required. And I'm always looking to find some aspect of Joy and Fun in my current experience.
As a result, I’ve now come to view ‘Life’ as: ‘… An Amazing Adventure! … An exciting roller coaster of ‘thrills and spills’ on one phase of a journey back to rediscovery of: ‘Who’ and ‘What’ we really Are!
Okay … so sometimes it may not feel as easy and/or as cruisie as we’d like … But Hey! …Whoever promised us ‘a Rose Garden’, anyway?? ..The only promise we’ve ever been offered is that all our efforts of pure intent ‘would be worth it’, in the end. Wasn’t it? (*Looks around hopefully again!*) :-S
In the area of interests, however … I can honestly say I have always felt very attuned to: ‘Angels’, ‘Dragons’ and ‘Castles!’ (Quite a contrast, I know) :-? And one day, I have promised to allow myself the time and space to begin making a proper collection of these. Especially so, after having been advised that each holds symbolic qualities ‘reflective’ of a current personality! i.e. Angels = upholding the belief in an ever-present, non-invasive, yet loving support system … readily available to lift us on wings of: ‘hope’ and ‘courage’, whenever required! Dragons = symbolic of the contained ‘fire’ and ‘passivity’ within one personality! And ‘Castles’ = symbolic of the impenetrable walls that can be instantly erected, (… and don’t even risk ‘going thereee Buddy’ … unless you’re prepared to be roasted to a crisp with the bat of an eyelid) :-/ LOL :-D
Sooo … there she is … ‘GentleSpirit’ … peeled back … (like an onion)… come talk to me pls! Say Hi in passing; and let’s get to know each other better and enjoy a part of this wonderful journey of ‘opening to our wider, physical/non physical perspective’ at this time, shall we?
In the meantime however, I wish you all Love & Light on your journey’s … where-ever these may lead you at this time… And I'm sooo happy to have I found this site of such a wonderfully combined Light~energy :)
