Thoughts & Experiences - December 5, 2007 (Go with the flow)

Once again I thank you all for allowing me to express my self so freely. You are all so wonderful!

Today I awoke with a need to write! My mind raced back and forth, tugging from one side to another trying to figure out what it was that I needed to write. I try not to force anything especially when it comes to writing. It is an opportunity to allow our soul to direct our thoughts without much distraction. I wrestled with so many emotions today and I was unable to pull anything out. It seemed as if my emotions were all trying to jockey for the front of the pack. Unfortunately, nothing stuck out at that moment and I quickly realized that I was forcing things, creating expectations of myself. I was not allowing things to flow through me!

As I read a message posted by FairySunrise, ‘Why the heck are we here?’ I clearly understood that my earlier realization was a message. ‘Do not force anything and allow it to flow peacefully!’ That was it and that is what I needed to hear again because I was once again trying to control what was happening with my thoughts. I allowed myself to fall victim to the idea that everything has to be according to a ‘plan’. For so long I had allowed things to flow so peacefully and now I was trying to force things again. It is as if I was given the lesson and then tested to see what I had learned. Life is simply what you make of it, if you want it to be difficult it will be. If you decide that life is full of love then it is. If you want it to be based on fear, I know you get it already, sorry! Do you see, even when we have the truth we try to control and manipulate it. We don’t just go with the flow we try to direct the flow. What is life and what are we doing here? ‘WE ARE LIVING!’ That is what we are doing here, simply living a life in the physical form. We do forget this often because of so many distractions but we always return to the same question, ‘What are we doing’? So if this is the truth why not just live life to the fullest without trying to control everything? If love is what makes life so much better then why not just ‘live in love’. ‘Stop trying to control or manipulate everything and allow the love to flow peacefully’. Sure I support asking questions, you need to be ready for change because that is also part of life but not going with the flow is only making things much more complicated. We set ourselves up for disappointment when we think that things need to be more! No different then ‘the desk’ and the simple directions! Do you see what we are doing once again? We are taking the truth and making it have requirements, requirements that can never be met. It is not enough to live life in love and happiness we need to have a formula to justify it. We took the lessons of great Masters before our time and made them unobtainable with all the requirements we placed on them. Let’s not do the same now and set up false requirements that will lead us to disappointment! We have the answers in our hearts so why create further illusions? There is no formula because Love is within us all.

I am just happy living a life in Love and my life will be guided by Love. Every decision I make will be based on Love and I will know exactly what I am doing here. I love you all so much because Love is what controls and manipulates my heart.
