I hereby resolve to continue the battle of the ego

Today I hereby resolve to continue the battle of releasing the ego. To forgive myself if I slip or stumble, and to get back on the horse again. I aspire to achieve the realization of my true self, which is made up of everything and everyone. I am just that I am. I resolve to continue to learn that I am not what I do, say, think, or feel. I am not the career that I have, the clothes that I wear, or the thoughts in my head. I am here, there, and everywhere. I declare that I intend to listen more and act less. I declare that it shall become easier to live without desires or attachments everyday that I realize that in not desiring or being attached, an abundance of joy will fill my being due to the fact that I require nothing of this world. I resolve to be happy to just be. And again, I resolve to forgive myself and keep on keeping on when the ego monster tries to grab hold of me one last time.

So be it.
