Attachment, Detachment, and Love

Let’s start with a clarification of the terms “attachment”, “detachment”, and “love”.
What is real is love, and it is neither attachment nor detachment. Only on the physical plane are attachment and detachment possible, in this play world of duality.
Attachment means seeking to find one’s Self in something other than oneself, generally unconsciously. Detachment means seeking to find one’s Self in oneself.
Love can be found in both, or in neither, depending on the intention of the seeker.
We are all pathways to God, to the holiness of What Is. We choose our methods, of teaching what we know, and of seeking what we are not yet aware of. We seek to feel love more fully even as we exemplify all that we know of love thus far. At various times in our lives, we choose to learn about love from attachment, and at others, from detachment.
The question to us from our eternal Self is always, “So, what have you experienced and learned about love so far, and where are you going to look next in your journey back to Self?”
Love allows others to make their own journeys, while keeping the home fires burning.
You, precious child of God, of What Is, are aware of your rising in consciousness. You can feel the ever-presence of God in your heart, soul, and mind. Attachment to your own path is a good thing.
