In the 1980s a fellow student and I surveyed the small vertebrate fauna and the flora of the Perup forest in the south-west of Western Australia. The following page gives the story of what happened, and information about south-west Western Australia, not to forget a very cute photo at the end of the story. Everything is related and I enjoyed my Biology studies and the appreciation of the web of Life which it helped imbue in me. This blog entry is to remember the scientists who care about our world and to remember that Earth is home to a multitude of Life apart from human beings.
